Just watching footage of this horrific crash on highway 400 north of Toronto. Have not lived in Ontario for many years but i drive driven pretty much all over North America and 400 highways in Ontario are the most aggressive anywhere. Way too fast. Way too many cars and way way too many trucks. The only US city that comes even close to the manic feeling in these roads is Chicago, and it is not as bad.

Multiple manslaughter charges should be levelled against the driver and to whoever he was contracted to.
Truckers who don't pay attention should be shot. That would clean up the mess pretty quickly.

Man, that's horrible. I've spent a lot of years driving fuel and this is the stuff of nightmares.
Just so you know, mf..........there is a difference between fossil fuels and fossil fueled. I doubt trying to use the latter would get you far.
What fuel was it? If that was diesel or fuel oil, that was one hellava hot fire to ignite it. If it were gasoline, propane, etc., it would have gone up like a baby nuke.
Once diesel goes up it burns. The fuel tanker is a super b and so it has between three and six compartments that carry various fuel. The payload for these can be as high as 52,000 liters depending on the fuel density. With gasoline, the density is much lower so you can carry a lot more.

One of my cousins used to drive loads of dynamite along the 401 east of Toronto. The money was good but he was also a Cop at the time (retired now) with a hot sports car, on top of it. Talk about an adrenaline junky!
