Curiosity;

no disruption at all, and the BP is normal. Takes more than this.

I thought you left

I don't want you banned. I don't wanna be banned.

Yer great fun. So am I

We are great fun.

Get it?

If anyone's gonna knock someone, they maybe wanna start with an intelligent comment, rather than a tirade against a writer and maw CBC. Cause, from me you'll get it back in spades. I fear neither you nor Colpy, nor any other righty in here. We all have our place in the grand scheme.......n'est pas.

. Malick's got her place, her point, and her mistakes, as do we all.

Hemmingway was good too. Steinbeck. Kerouac. But none were "perfect" That's just an opinion, also.

BTW, I didn't read your last comments. See? Yer free to express them, for sure, but I...........don't care......

God bless, and peace. I'm done with this thread.

I hate people using the term 'elitist'. To me, it just means 'that person is smarter than me, and therefore I hate them'

That said, I often dislike Mallick's columns, and used to dislike them in the Globe and Mail.

While it makes a person feel good to coddle drug users, and encourage them to kill themselves and destroy the lives of their families, there's got to be a better way. And frankly, if you stop to think about it, to set up and help with safe injection sites would run somewhat counter to the 'first, do no harm' concept. Instead of enabling people, we should be trying to stop the behaviour.

I would defend my use of the word "elitist" when I speak of Malick........but the rest of your post is right on.
