I have voted for New York City council and Mayor Republican in the past.

And I have also voted for a Republican Governor in the past also.

Federal level elections I have always voted Democrat. We'll see in 2008. If a moderate Republican is running, that's fine by me. It's the neo-cons I can't stand.

The halfwit in the White House needs to understand Americans are fed up with his bull****.

We need to regain control of Congress, hopefully that will be tonight. I'm pretty sure we get back the House, not so sure about the Senate.

Either way, next time around (next year and the year after) Dems will control both House and Senate.

The Republicans need a timeout and think about who they let slip into the party. A long tiem out, say a few decades?

Perhaps the last 6 years will be a lesson - stay away from extremists at either end. Sooner or later common sense has to prevail. Hopefully this is the first step in that direction.

Right now I'm really happy for you people. I hope you can get the senate back too. I'd like to see America get back it's shine in the world again. Then perhaps someday, I'll break my current stance and hopefully look forward with the family to head back to Montana and Wyoming for a trip.

Maybe the Democrats will have learned something positive from all this too and can also become a better party. I'd still love to see a major third party in the USA down the road to shake things up a bit. Then it wouldn't be so much of a mirror reflection between two parties but a finer play for differentiation with the added spectrum. If only to keep the Republicans and Democrats from simply playing off eachother (that third voice of opinion).

Anyway, hoping for the best for the neighbours down south.

Now it is a chance to see if the Democrats can do. They have done nothing but whine since 1994 so it is time to put up. There are NO EXCUSES now.

Do you notice the difference when the Dems win over the Republicans? You don't see the Republicans crying foul over fixed elections and stolen elections.

Hmmmm... I am up in the air on this one. My heart and consious says take the high road but part of me wants to give the Dems a little bit of their own medicine. Every election that they have lost they always spout off about election irregularities. They are sore losers when they lose.

The sad fact is that eventually the Dems will lose control of the House one day and I KNOW they will not take it lying down. They will talk about how the GOP stole the house back. Mark my words. Dems do not take defeat gracefully. They are habitual complainers and whiners. Right now they are saying...

"Wow... we really have to produce now. How do we do that?"
