We shall see what happens in Pitt. soon enough.

It seems in this round, whoever has home team advantage wins the game.

Sounds like a nervous Leafs fans to me.

Don't worry Prax, the Habs won't win the cup this year but they sure have done things no one else has.

Which is? :-?

They beat Washington I hear, but that's about it.

If they beat the Pens in game 7, I'll admit being impressed, but I won't count my chickens before they hatch.

No eighth seed team has ever beaten a first seeded team coming back for a 3-1 deficit.

Have the Leafs ever done that?

Have they ever done anything?

I personally wouldn't know, I'm not a Leafs fan and didn't even know they still existed :p jk.

One of the trends I've noticed with the Pens in the past is that some years they'd kick everybody's arse and be one of the top teams after the regular season, only to be tossed out of the playoffs in the first round, and then other years, they'd do crappy in the regular season and barely make the playoffs, only to get to the finals and dominate every other team around them.

Point being, one can not determine the Playoff outcome by what happened in the Regular Season leading up to the Playoffs. The Regular Season determines which teams will make it to the playoffs and who plays against who or whatever... but that's where it ends.... once the playoffs begin, it's a whole other ballgame.... er, puck.

Agreed.... They'll lose game 7 in Pitts and then that'll be the end of it.

And then as predicted like always, the band wagon Habs fans will riot in the streets, torch cars, buildings and burn effigies. .

I kind of doubt if I will........................:lol::lol::lol::lol:

and if that is the end of it, good for them, they gave it
a good run, everything comes to an end, and if it does
for them, they can go into training camp next fall with
a renewed energy because of their stellar performance in
the playoffs, they will know what they 'can' do when they
give it their best.

True... and I've already looked at the worst case situation of the Pens losing tonight.... if they lose, then on the bright side, I don't have to watch anymore of the playoffs this year and can cancel my digital cable.... there's nothing ever good on tv anymore anyways..... might as well save myself some money on something I'm not using.

Okay, narrowed it down to 28 others teams.

I've been a Pens fan since I was 8 years old (I liked the angry penguin on their jerseys) which was back when Mario Lemieux, Jaromír Jágr, Kevin Stevens, Tom Barrasso, etc. were on the team.

Having Crosby on the team now is just a bonus, since he grew up about 20 minutes from where I'm currently sitting typing this.

And be on an NHL team and have an entire team purposely target you every time you're on the ice, smashing you into the corners and never giving you a chance to do anything, game after game, and tell me how you'd handle it.

I know I'd probably get a tad frustrated too and he's not the first NHL player to be targeted this way or to get frustrated because of it.

Regardless, the Pens still got Staal, Malkin, Fleury, etc. whom can get the job done just as well while the rest of the team focuses on Crosby.... he just switches from the goal scorer, to assisting.

Ah yes.... cuz the NHL is all against the Habs.... one big conspiracy and if they lose tonight, that's why.... Canadiens fans always have some sort of excuse for why they lose or suck.

And I bet that if the Habs lose tonight, we'll certainly see who the real whiners are. ;-) *pokes with his stick and skates off*

Oh boo hoo.....Ovechkin was targeted and he dosen't smash his stick and whine at refs.

Like don Cherry says, it's the playoffs suck it up.

Some role model, cross check someone at the end of a game and cry to the refs until they give you the call you want.

He's talented, no question of that but he's also a whiny angry little suck on the ice.

Lose or suck....

Ever been to the Bell center?

If you ever have the privilage, look up when you get inside.

You'd have to be blind to notice how some of these calls went, I'm not big on conspiracies, never have been but it's still al ittle rediculous.

I would point them out but I'd be wasting my time. Detroit was getting shafted as well on calls.

Dream match up now in the final is an original six confrontation.

The fair weather fan teams can sit back and watch history....oh but wait...will you even watch the final?

Anyways, good luck and may the best team prevail.;-)

Speaking of boo hoo'ing, I saw the so-called "Cross check" and it was nothing more then a tap that didn't even nudge the guy.

And I've seen plenty of players in the playoffs smashing sticks and throwing tantrums on many other teams.... far worse then anything I've seen Crosby do.... Oh, but he's supposed to be a "Role Model" moreso then all these other players, so it's not ok.

Cripes, talk about moaning over nothing..... let's just stick to the game shall we and see what happens tonight.

And just because Don Cherry has something spew out of his big mouth from time to time, doesn't make what he says biblical.... I know, heresy, but he's getting old and senile these days anyways.

And even I noticed every time a game was in Montreal, there were plenty of trips, cross checks and other penalties the Habs pulled off that the Refs never called, yet jumped all over the Pens..... though that's kinda typical for Montreal anyways.... I'd hate to be a Ref in Montreal calling penalties against the Habs.... fans there are pretty militant.... no wonder why they win their games at home.... just wait tonight when the refs aren't favoring the Habs again and see them lose, again. ;)

I will be cheering for the habs tonight, a huge thing to ask them to do, but they have come this far, might as well
win one more.

I like pittsburg too, crosby, malkin and a few others, but
I won't cheer for them as long as cooke is on the team, and
I will always cheer for the habs in the 'east' against any other
team, but if they end up in the finals, I will have to go with the
western team, will not turn my back on the western conference.

No one else has acted this way in the playoffs save Carcillo plus Criesby is the face of NHL.....and we still don't see other stars acting this way....just plugs.

Gald to see you approve of his behavior.

Let's see if the crowd in Pitts is as loud as what we saw in Montreal.

Oh please point out these so called penalties you allude to.

I have a list from just one game.

Want to see it?

Didn't think so.

The Pens should win tonite, they are the champs.

If the pens lose tonight, probably not.... why would I?

Indeed... even if the best team is full of cry babies ;) :p

You're a Pens fan, not a hockey fan.

I never said full of cry babies, I like all the other players on the Pens team except that POS Cooke.

Criesby is the baby, even his peers know he is.

He's a diver as well.
