And compaired to Chow, he would get my vote because of his job as mayor ... his personal life is just that. Not something I think he should be proud of but not reason to not vote for him.
I tend to agree with you, but for one of two little minor details....................when you are mayor of a place like Toronto you are often in situations where you are trying to curry favour and may have to be convincing - trying to negotiate deals involving $millions and in the middle of something like this you don't want to find yourself being accosted by a couple of chaps with yellow stripes down their legs carrying hand cuffs! -:)

Exonerated?
I am sure he will be exed soon enough.

Yeah, I don't think the prognosis is too favourable. -:)

"I have not been arrested yet so I have done nothing wrong" is not the standard that anyone should live their life to, much less an elected official.

Yeah, now that I think of it there may be some validity to that little point!

the prognosis wasn't good 40 lbs ago

You're a card, Sal! -:)

well he is entertaining, what will we do without him

I'm sure you'll find a way to persevere and struggle along!

Well, I have to admit I think Ford could be better trusted with handling the public purse. J.M.H.O.

I don't love Chow, but Ford's "fiscally conservative" brain seems to fly out the window when it comes to transit. I have to pay more money for the next 30 years for a subway extension that could have been achieved with no tax increase at all. He wants to spend billions more, and undoubtedly raise my taxes even more, to fund a subway on Sheppard, a move that makes no logical sense other than to buy votes.

Nobody takes on the small stuff like Ford, but the big picture stuff is a joke. I don't love seeing a counselor spend 10k on a party for himself, but I won't be paying for that for the rest of my working life like I will be for Fords subways for votes plan.

I feel your pain...we're getting new rapid transit... yup

the above are our proud bunch

for about 818 million dollars you can ride a train across town two minutes faster than the bus will get you there...it going to just make our community boom

along with a fast ride, for the 818 million we will get the following benefits

  • frequent service ;
  • limited stops ;
  • pre-boarding fares ;
  • signal priority ;
  • queue jumping ;
  • bus by-pass shoulders ;
  • bicycle and pedestrian amenities ; and
  • passenger information systems.
I'm so excited...I can hardly wait for my taxes to quadruple.

If I was Rob I don't think I'd let my guard down. I would take for granted that the only reason the heat is off is that they've run into a bureaucratic glitch, which is very temporary and perhaps he should have a tooth brush and razor packed for a stay at a judicial establishment. L.O.L. (That could preclude him from being a future mayor) -:)

If I was Rob I'd get some help with my addiction.

Actually, the outcome of the election in T. O. has no effect on me 500 miles away, except for the comedic effect of watching some folks get their panties in a twist....should he win....

Hell.....It's fun watching them sweat now.........:lol:

More proof of what I've said before--the only ones supporting Rob Ford now are the ones who just enjoy watching it all burn.
