I'm afraid you've got it wrong. Most Israelis live in peaceful neighborhoods, isolated from the violence. Unlike their Palestinian neighbors, they are protected and don't have to worry about religious fanatics shooting through their windows or torching their homes. Watch the movies:

http://www.btselem.org/english/Settler_Violence/20081210_Hebron_riots.asp

But I would agree that sooner or later, Israelis will be overrun by hostile people, who are pissed off for decades of injustice and oppression. When these people finally get a chance to give what they've been getting, I expect it will be unpleasant for Israeli citizens. Which is why Israeli citizens should leave sooner rathe than later.

Aliyah sees 9% dip from 2005
By Moti Bassok

Only 19,264 people immigrated to Israel in 2006, down nine percent from 2005. It is the lowest number of immigrants recorded since 1988.

Nearly 3 million people have immigrated to Israel since the country's founding in 1948, roughly one third of which immigrated during the 1990s. Some 300 people immigrated from India in 2006 - a fivefold increase from 2005.

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics, since 2002 - the year in which the major wave of immigration from the former Soviet Union came to an end - there has been a consistent downward trend in immigration. In 2006, immigration was down to 1980s levels, during which time 9,000-24,000 people immigrated annually.

In 2006, only 2.7 people immigrated for every 1,000 veteran residents. In 1990-91, at the height of immigration from the former Soviet Union, that figure stood at an average of 35 per 1,000, and from 1990-2001, it averaged 17 per 1,000. Starting in 2003, that figure fell to below 3.8 per 1,000 - also the rate during 1980-89, the period of lowest immigration in Israel's history.

Emigration from Israel exceeds immigration, report
04/20/2007

Tel Aviv (dpa) - In Israel, the number of emigrants exceeded the number of immigrants for the first time in 20 years, the Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot reported Friday.

Many emigrants were recent arrivals who wanted to leave Israel again, the report said. In 2007, 14,400 immigrants are expected in Israel while 20,000 people are expected to leave the country, according to the report based on figures for the first months of 2007.

The last time emigration exceeded immigration was in the aftermath of the 1973 Yom Kippur War and in 1983 and 1984 when inflation was high.

Meanwhile the Maariv newspaper reported that approximately a quarter of the Israeli population was considering emigration.

Almost half of the country's young people were thinking of leaving the country, the report said. Their reasons included dissatisfaction with the government, the education system, a lack of confidence in the political ruling class and concern over the security situation.

Israel's right to be racist
Joseph Massad, The Electronic Intifada, 15 March 2007

Let us start with why Israel and Zionism need to ensure that Israel remains a racist state by law and why it deserves to have that right. The rationale is primarily threefold and is based on the following claims.

Jews are always in danger out in the wide world; only in a state that privileges them racially and religiously can they be safe from gentile oppression and can prosper. If Israel removed its racist laws and symbols and became a non-racist democratic state, Jews would cease to be a majority and would be like Diaspora Jews, a minority in a non-Jewish state.

Looks more like the world is suffering from Zionist oppression. So Canada fully supports a racist state.

Did you know that to become a member of NATO that country must have LAWS to make Holocaust Denial a crime.

This is a quote from Colpy>>>And yes, Iran does want to destroy Israel.....at least the current looney gov't does. They support Hezbollah, who bombs Jewish centres in Argentina, and whose leader once said he hoped all the Jews in the world returned to Israel......so he could kill them all in one place.

Colpy do you have a source for the above or is this Zionist propaganda?

And what is wrong with that. Denial of one of the worst tragedies in modern should be a crime.

Iran president sees "countdown" to Israel's end
"President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who triggered outrage in the West two years ago when he said Israel should be "wiped off the map", has often referred to the destruction of the Jewish state but says Iran is not a threat."

Peaceful neighbourhoods, with the danger of rockets falling on your heads.

You know whats easier? Not living some place with any danger of rockets on your head, ie Canada, which also wants immigrants.

So tell me why, withe the option of Canada and Israel to move to, would anyone choose Israel if they aren't Jewish and looking for some spiritual hocus pocus?

Its not a racist conspiracy, its a ****ty place to live. Thats like saying its a conspiracy to keep white people from moving to Harlem.

Here are a few holocaust truths

<FONT size=4> – Fountains of blood gushing from mass graves. This evidence was given by prominent witnesses such as Elie Wiesel and Adolf Eichmann. Adalbert Rückerl, longtime head of the ZStL (Zentralstelle, Central Office) also spread this absurd story, which was dutifully carried along by the Frankfurt Auschwitz Court.

These are Jewish people who were pushed around throughout their history, and finally found a place where they can be the majority and be secure. They are not racist and anyone who says so doesn't know what they are talking about. Israel has been threatened since it's inception with annihilation. Jew's have been threatened as individuals by Europeans since first immigrating there. The Jewish immigrants to what is now Israel, created that state from a desert badland environment. If the Palestinians were still in charge that is all it would be today. You cannot compare what makes a true Israeli to a Canadian of for that matter a American. We just don't have the chutzpa.

The former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri was murdered in 2005

Weeks later a suicide bomber killed 29 people and injured 100 more in an attack on the Israeli embassy in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires.
Another bombing, of a Jewish community centre in the same city in 1994, killed 85 and injured more than 200. Hezbollah is widely believed to have been involved in these attacks.

As was pointed out in the link, the quote is a Zionist fabrication form the far right National Review. Hezbollah denies bombing the site in Argentina and has majority support and great sympathy in Latin America to this day. Unlike you, Latins do not believe in the Zionist propaganda that you so readily fall for.

Attacks against innocent civilians are either crimes (during peace) or war crimes (by soldiers during war) regardless of who does it. The above are examples of Israel being on the recieving side.

Here are some examples of Israel on the giving side:

Some of these assassinations are also crimes and/or war crimes:

But the string here is about whether Israel is a racist state. I'd say no. Israelis practice religious based discrimination. But it still results in oppression and injustice.

The Israeli military is investigating racist, war-mongering graffiti left by soldiers in Gaza, near the scene of alleged atrocities carried out by its troops.

Graffiti in Gaza reads 'Arabs need 2 die'. Pic: Tim Butcher

A series of disturbing slogans were daubed on the walls of a house occupied during Operation Cast Lead by soldiers in the town of Zeitoun.
One reads "Arabs need 2 die", another says "make war not peace".

Picture: Tim Butcher

Elsewhere a soldier appears to crow about killing a Palestinian, writing in bad English: "1 is down, 999,999 to go."
On another wall in Hebrew, is written: "The Only Good Arab is a Dead Arab."
Others are too offensive to be reprinted here.
The graffiti is all the more disturbing because of what is alleged to have happened during the offensive in Zeitoun.
The UN's Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs quotes eye witnesses as saying a hundred Palestinians were rounded up and moved to a house which was repeatedly shelled 24 hours later.
Around thirty people are thought to have died.

Picture: Tim Butcher

Nearby, another 20 members of the same extended Samouni family claim they were sheltering when Israeli soldiers burst in and shot a father and his four year old son, deliberately and in cold blood, according to eye witnesses.
The Red Cross said it was delayed access to the area following the incidents.
Medics found children clinging to the bodies of their dead parents two days after the killings.
Major Avital Leibovich, a spokesman for the Israeli Defence Forces told Sky News the incidents in Zeitoun are under investigation.
Under investigation means nothing-it is the Israeli way of telling oythers to go skrooo yourself

Damn Einsmench, you'd just LOVE an excuse to go on a Jew-killing spree, wouldn't you?

You know as well as I do that such lunatic calls to murder of Arabs and Palestinians are NOT the mainstream of Israeli or certainly Jewish thoughts.....they are radical, fringe ideas put out by lunatics.

If Israel wanted the Arab population of Israel dead, it would be dead in a month.

Instead, the Israeli Supreme Court preventing the ban on certain Arab political parties in the last election......

If Israel want to kill off, or even punish the Palestinian population of Gaza, it couold have murdered tens....no hundreds of thousands in the 22 day incursions this year.....In fact less than 1.000 non-combatants were killed. That is according to Human Rights Watch.

Give it a break....the Third Reich is done. The glory days of Jew murder will not return.

It is guys like you that make Zionism a necessity....so next time you are screaming about Zionism, and looking for the reasons it exists, look in the mirror.

Interesting line of reasoning that you use: on the one hand you acknowledge that Argentina sympathizes with Jew haters. Then on the other hand you say it allowed the bombing of its own citizens to get back at Israel for something done to a Middle Easterner.

Let's see, it was 23 killed in 1992, 90 or so in 1994 with hundreds injured. How generous of Argentina to allow its citizens to be killed in the name of someone they never heard of.

Very interesting. And twisted.
