I don't know what to take from your message - but feel it was an inappropriate idea on my part to seek you out in your absence. For that I apologize.

For the remainder of your wisdom I will need more time and an alert mind.

I hope you are now feeling better and returning to good health.

Please know that we gather here in a bit of relaxation and relief or escape - to have contact with other human lifeforms - simply for that contact sans the societal mores placed upon us by reality.

It isn't the magna carta, but it has life at whatever level we wish it to be.

No need for an apology Curio...:)

No worries....

And yes, humankind's recreational pursuits aren't the same or even similar to the fabric of the Magna Carta.... our "voices" our contributions to the human symphony enabled through the taming of reluctant electrons is finally static....

Many seek comfort through this smorgasbord of thoughts and ideas, a comfort that may come from the opportunity to sample the flavors of distinctinveness at a safe distance...while escaping the burden of accountability.

While it is a "throw-away" activity perhaps, the inescapable reality is that the character and craft of ideas encountered through this exercise does offer insight into the mechanisms of mind...a single flower in a garden doesn't tell us much about the gardener but the garden as a whole speaks volumes.

Thank you Mikey - I was concerned I had overstepped the boundaries of propriety

In my current status of limited time Mikey - any social contacts I share in offer me an enjoyable slice
of humanity and reinforce the fact I am still alive. I celebrate.

Continue to get well and I will erace all the thoughts I had of you on a large yacht with three beautiful women who were attending to every and all of your necessaries... and that of your furry housemate while sailing through the sun and moon every day with balmy breezes cleansing your mind and thoughts. Still it was a nice thought -

I too am glad to hear from you Mikey, hope all is well.

I haven't been on the forums nearly as much this summer, but even from brief visits there are some characters here that when missing are conspicuous.

The "I" that is MikeyDB is strong willed and a voracious thinker. A pleasure to read.

I hope Mikey, that whatever ailments you had or have, you are on the mend.

MikeyDB you gots to get away from the fungus among us and spoon with 2 women while the third massages your feet.

A massage for all, and a butler to arrange it.

One day this will be considered a civil right.

Let us bow our heads
and hum a worldwide mantra...

Glad to see an update on you MikeyDB.

In the southern US, where I was born and raised, "family" is anybody you care about.

Lots of folks here are my family. Faceless, perhaps, but certainly not impersonal. No more or less accountable here than in thier "real life"--for accountability will only take you as far as you allow it. Some cynics don't get the whole "community" feeling, and some of us get too much of it. But we are a microcosm of the world, the world which each of us has chosen to live in, and by making the choice to include this realm, we create our own small reality.

Well said.
