Watching the news tonight I just learned that Flaherty (finance minister) is calling the financial experts in the private sector to Ottawa for advice on things to include (or exclude) in the next budget. So obviously this gov't is listening to the (informed) people, which is exactly opposite to what all the whiners were whining about. Obviously before he did this he would have had to run it past Harper for his approval. That doesn't coincide with the definition of a dictator that I learned in school.
While I agree that Harper isn't quite dictatorish enough to be called a dictator now...... I have to comment about Flatheaderly and what you said about him.....
"So obviously this gov't is listening to the (informed) people, which is exactly opposite to what all the whiners were whining about."
^ You want to know what's to whine about?
These dip sh*t Conservatives should have done all of this months ago and not try to guess out of their arses for the last few years that everything is just fine.
Ignorance is bliss afterall..... if they don't listen and don't hear of any problems, it must be ok.
They even said during their own election that the economy is just fine, that the budget won't go in the red, that they will work with all the other parties.
And at the same time during the election, when everybody was telling the Liberals and Dion that the Carbon Tax is a stupid idea because the economy is junk, it was known then that the economy was in trouble and people were losing jobs..... all the while the Cons kept saying everything is just super.... there was a + growth under their leadership (Of part time/temp jobs that paid minimum wage)
Then the Conservatives win and they break their promise to work with the other parties, they refuse to make a budget and spending that the other parties were demanding for the last number of months, the other parties knew something needed to be done but the Conservatives still refused to do anything (Even after they sat down with each party beforehand and heard what they wanted)
Then the Conservatives stall the government until January......
And now.... finally after they start to face their party's utter destruction and people accross the country are getting royally pissed that they're not doing anything..... do they finally start to get off their asses and do their damn jobs.
And you think we should give them a pat on the back?
I ought to kick their nads straight up into their eyeballs for being such dip sh*t idiots!
It's beyond too late to fix much of the damage already done, it's beyond too late to seek advice from those who know what they're talking about.
And what have the Conservatives presented as a solution so far?
The exact same damn thing the other parties wanted back in October FFS!
Oh no.... nothing to complain about now.... Jeezuz McDiddles....
