Curmudgeons Day is one of those holidays most people find hard to believe is real. There’s no need to worry, though, because you don’t have to be grumpy to celebrate it.

There are many schools of thought regarding Curmudgeons Day. Some say it’s a holiday where you’re supposed to stay home all day and do nothing. Others, though, see it as a day when you’re permitted to be as miserable and grouchy as you like. In fact, they consider it a day when grumpiness should be celebrated.

If you’re not feeling too ill-tempered, though, you can still celebrate Curmudgeons Day, and have fun while doing it. Here are a few ideas on how to celebrate this holiday without necessarily being grumpy yourself:

Spread the cheer and make a curmudgeon you know laugh;

Watch a film featuring curmudgeons, such as Grumpy Old Men;

Take a few moments to appreciate your life and why you really shouldn’t be grumpy.

Curmudgeons Day is an official holiday, but if you really can’t seem to get into the right mood to be true to it, you can always have a bit of fun with the family.

Curmudgeons aren't confined to old codgers, there's young A$$holes who fit the mould too! :)

Especially do nothing young A$$holes that spend their day on a computer instead of working to pay for our OAS......like we paid for our folks....

My bad. I should have remembered that you're entitled to your entitlements. I'll try and work a little harder. I'm off right now but I could always head into the office and shuffle some paper if you think it'll help.

Not to mention that they f**k the dog all day, whining about us old curmudgeons while they have a high paying "job" while they whine all f**king day about their superiors, who they think should listen to their sh*t.

Ya, having a high paying job sucks. It's hard to find a dog worthy of f**king when you're upper crust. And superiors? It's hard to find superiors when you're at the top. First world problems are a real bitch. Trying to pack my suitcase tonight and I just don't know what to do. Should I take the Gucci shoes or the Salvatore Farragamo Python loafers. I'm just about ready to pull my hair out. Any suggestions JLM?
