I'm celebrating Canada Day with a big sit-down dinner for 10 of my friends.

The dinner: curry. Every dish I learned from the old women at the Sikh Temple in South Vancouver - Fraser and about 55th.

How incredibly Canadian.

Wow Pangloss - you prepared a meal for ten friends?

Such confidence....and what a novel idea - an Indian dish on Canada Day...

Did anybody celebrate Happy Canada Day with a Molson's or two?

I spent my Canada Day at the Toronto Zoo. Then back home for some Carlings ( Molson owned ) and a nice swim. Then a nice pork loin BBQ'd nice and slow. Ahhhh.

Today, more Carlings and a swim. Washed my pick up and cut the lawn. Listened to the CBC special archive shows. Holy crap am I ever Canadian. I'm lovin' it!

My Canada Day sucked, to be honest. Even though I worked 7am-7pm ON the holiday, I am not getting paid time and a half. I guess the government decided to make it so that whenever Canada Day falls on a Sunday, it doesn't count. The day now becomes Monday(even though it is just a regular day for all intents and purpose), which sucks for me as I have the day off.

This, even though we have a CBA which states that we get paid if we work the holiday date itself.

Man, I am still pissed about this.:angryfire:

Other than that, Happy Belated Canada Day!:canada:

Sorry...I'm a bit late.

HAPPY CANADA DAY

Oh, and for all you Molson fans, here's a little bit of name dropping:

When I was in my teens, I went to a party held at the Molsons' residence, complete with a live band situated in a small space between two rooms in which we could dance. Just thought you'd like to know.:lol::lol:
