Our mill rate hasn’t changed. With the growth, things are doing well. Racists are mad but f@#k em.


NO NEED to change the Mill Rate if the value of housing is SOARING anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Higher house value means multiplying the regular Mill Rate by a BIGGER NUMBER so govt get more gravy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


And in a place like Alberta..................govt can leave rates and charges as they are.........................while pretending not to see the economic chaos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


And that is what got Notley NDPers into trouble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Oil tax revenues shrank to nothing....................but airhead NDPers kept BORROWING so they could supply the civil service union HOGS with the gravy they felt entitled to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Alberta "job" - its really indentured SERVITUDE- involves traveling to interview sites!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


The job description does not say that the candidate MUST have a car- but NO DOUBT such details will come up in a candidate interview!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


In Ontari-owe / Durham Region- where public transit is limited and shuts down EARLY- the local employers have job application forms



that REQUIRE the candidate to provide DETAILS of the kind of car they drive- meaning year, make, model, mileage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


If the candidate does not OWN a car- then the candidate may specify the kind of car their parent drives- and then list where and



when the candidate may have access to the parents car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Many parents recognize that offering the kid access to the parental chariot gives quick and easy access to the job market for their kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


And thus parents will offer the car to the kid- IF they can afford it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Employers EVERYWHERE are looking for candidates who are MOBILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Those who are mobile can respond QUICKLY to calls into work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


This is the curse and reality of our part time, temporary, on call, contract employment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


To often - NO CAR MEANS - NO WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Those who have only access to pubic transit ARE NOT DESIRED by employers as they take to long to show up....................


or they may be unable to reach a work site in reasonable time because it is to far away......................................



or they may even not show up at all as the transit shuts down at awkward times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Employers - including my own former boss - ROUTINELY PREFER employees with cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


My old boss routinely laid off workers who did not have a car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


He would hire transit using workers when he had to but would dump them quickly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



And yet LIE-berals INSIST that driving is a privilege.....................................


even as LIE-berals REFUSE to build more public transit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


And of course the electric TOY Cars so beloved of LIE-berals - cost WAY MORE than a gas powered car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


And a part time job as an interviewer DOES NOT allow a kid to pay for a gas car and living expenses and student loan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
