Given the fact that she stated that her and Jaffer have no idea how the coke got in his pocket, she has all the credibility of a cat with feather hanging out of its mouth, and an empty bird cage.

Then let's assume she does know. Then certainly Harper has a right to defend himself and straighten out the facts of the case. Now if it turns out he can't for this or that reason, then he should have thought of that before and bumped her out of Cabinet quietly.

I don't believe her because she's a politician. I hate to generalize, but I think most if not all are unmittigated scumbags, by nature.

Agreed, which is why I have not said she was guilty of any wrong doing. Only that she's been dumped legitimately, and that I don't believe she doesn't know why.

This whole thing is ridiculous. Apparently, the police "discovered" a small amount of crack in the guy's suit jacket. which was in the car. I wouldn't give a nickle for evidence police "discover" by themselves. Did the police ask if they could search the car? This smacks of a planned take-down of Ghergis and her husband who became "excess to Harper's requirements".

I wouldn't go so far as to building conspiracy theories here. As for the crack, it's supposedly been found but charges dropped. Well, that's for the courts to decide, I don't know the full story to that. All I'm saying is that if the accusations are true, and they may very well be true, Harper handled it terribly.
