Gore uses 20x the amount of energy... but he claims, his carbon print is neutral.

He buys trees to plant to put oxegen back in the air, for all the fuel he burns.

But everybody can't buy trees in some nursery and plant them to become carbon neutral.

He uses his mass of energy and writes cheques off be neutral.. maybe cut down on energy, and set a standard for all Americans.

And I am an enviromentalist, I fear for this world, and I want this issue tackled, and Manitoba Hydro here has a program to get energy efficient light bulbs at a great discount. Over the past 3 years, after bulbs go out, I have made 100% of the lightbulbs in my house the "green" ones.

The government has to make it optional and affordable to be green, and then every human, will realize this threat, and be green if its the same cost or less then being ungreen.

Low-income people, can't be investing in green homes!

Besides that, we need the automobile thing and the industry people to be regulated.

But I don't want a green-world to come at a huge hit at our economy... most don't want the economy to hurt from this.

Do you know what they make bibles out of Westmanguyfellaboy, trees, millions of them eh.

Did you know that Books offer so much to this world, an open us up to so many things?

Hey, you must have read the "How to ignore religious points and attack them!, even when religion is off-topic to the discussion!" book. Thats not green.

Oh, and guess what else: Books are recycable, and can be reused, and passed on to others.

We also have this nifty system called a Library that cuts down on paper, by sharing popular books amongst people at no cost.

I thought you were an intellect, I used to respect you... not anymore.

Sigh..

I'm sure your right about the the windmills, and I would support you on that effort, but I don't like
to hear the Kennedys trashed, as some of them have done great work with the "average" and
underpriviledged" people in the u.s. in certain areas, that started with Robert Kennedy and has
continued with others in the Kennedy family, so we can't paint all of them with one brush.
There is nothing wrong with people being wealthy, I am not, never will be, but there
are many wonderful "wealthy" people, who do great things with their money to help many, Bill Gates being number one on that listt.

The Kennedys DO for the Kennedys. They have done nothing but embarrass themselves and my state with their antics. They preach about what people should do and give no thought of how they act. They use their power and money to make up for their criminal behavoir. Their wealth which was built on smuggling booze from Canada and Europe during Prohibition.

Drug abuse, alcohol, flagrant violations of the law. That is the Kennedy way. From Teddy at Chappaquidic when he drove off a bridge drunk and waited until he was sober the next morning before he told police as a young girl drowned in the car. He calls the lawyer and aides first to work on a story. Then to the Kennedy that slamed into a tree skiing while throwing the football around and killed himself after the Ski Patrol have told them year after year NOT to do that. But they did it anyways.

Cape Wind is the perfect example. Yes we have to clean up the environment but not where I live.
