Oh yes the children. How could I forget the poor, drooling all over themselves children of the Carolinas.
Good for you. I don't need one 90% of the time either. Prefer the GPS to maps when driving.
It's also how you program the thing...eg select paved roads only..also always check the complete route befor you leave, to make sure it makes sense...and use a Garmin...not a Tom Tom...they're no f-n good.
Only once, My daughter's garmin, gave us an impossible route coming back from Buffalo to Mississauga after giving us the proper route to get there in the first place....but we checked the route and didn't blindly follow...
Strange..as soon as we crossed the bridge back in Canada...it worked fine.
