First off it’s the sickle and hammer, not star. And claiming to be offended by it just to counter a genuine historical context of racism associated with the swastika is a pathetic, un-intellectual argument, but then again, what to expect from closet racists and Nazi white supremacists? Symbols that are clearly racist due to a well known historical context of their usage ought to be banned. Some individual being offended by the color blue for whatever obscure reason doesn’t count.
No. It's the crescent and star. The hammer and sickle is a USSR symbol, that's not what the point was.
The crescent isn’t even an Islamic symbol, but rather a Turkish one, associated with the Turkish Ottoman empire that didn’t emerge until the 15th century. This is why so many ‘Muslim’ countries have the crescent emblazened on their national flags, because either they are Turkic countries (Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan) or were once under Ottoman rule (Tunisia, Algeria, Libya). But neither the flag of Saudi Arabia nor any other country in the Arabian peninsula (Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Emirates, Oman, Yemen, Jordan) bear a crescent. So the crescent isn’t an Islamic symbol at all.

I expect that the difficulty in making such equipment explains why so few people have done it. The small number of coins with swastikas and other symbols points to just a very few people doing it. But it is not rocket science. You can make a swastika with a hammer and chisel.

The swastika was a symbol of peace & harmony in Buddhism 1000s of years ago so the true historical context is nothing to do with racism.
Now muslims have been trying to destroy white folks since well before christ or mohommud so there IS a long historical context and actual record of muslims being racist and committing genocide. We have in fact had ethnic cleansing perpetrated by muslims right up to current times and they apparently don't want to stop. Not really a religion of peace when you regularly commit genocide and openly declare 'all must convert or die', just saying. Under that context every symbol used in islam should be banned, hell islam itself should be banned for it's actual historical record (not just context) of genocide and racism.

I recollect when lefties were all in an uproar about the oppression of Bosnian Muslims, til some pictures came out and showed that these Muslims were as white as Angela Merkel, and the whole lefty hissy fit kinda collapsed because lefties can't believe whites can be oppressed.

You just made that up. Why are you ignoring the UN peacekeeping missions in the former Yugoslavia; the sanctions placed on the Serbs; and the eventual bombing of Belgrade? All of these happened because of humans rights atrocities against Muslims in both Bosnia and eventually Kosovo.
