Victory comes only from God, the Almighty, the Most Wise
I write this to explain this point which confuses many people.
I say this because I heard a Jewish woman say on the TV "God is with us!" It implies she thinks that her religion is true and other religions including Islam is false, and that for this reason, she sees now that the Israelites have impacted Muslims.

Truly, the matter of victory and defeat is by God's hand, as in the Quran 3: 126, which means: (Surely, victory comes only from God, the Almighty, the Most Wise) which is also mentioned in many other ayat of the Quran.
God grants victory to His messengers: this is obvious and unquestionable: He helps His messengers against their enemies the idolaters and disbelievers. So God helps with victory His messengers and their followers who devote themselves to God alone.

This victory comes in two ways: either people believe their prophet or messenger and will be saved... or people reject the messenger and here they will be destroyed, while the messenger together with the believers will be saved.

However, most peoples denied their messengers and were destroyed, like Noah's people who were drowned, Lot's people who were destroyed by the earthquake, etc.
And like the Israelites who opposed the apostles of Christ and were severely destroyed and went into the Diaspora.
And like the Israelites who opposed Prophet Mohammed, and were thus destroyed and banished.
And like Pharaoh and his troops who were drowned after their opposing Moses.
That is because opposing the messenger indicated the opposing of God Who sent him.

Kind'a like how the Quran is ALSO distorted, but don't let that fact bother you, Torchy.
The Quran is the preserved word of God that is unchangeable and unalterable.
ٍٍٍ(Surely the [Quran] is a precious book [to believers, although 'associators and idolaters' disbelieve in it.]
No falsehood can approach it, neither at present time [of its revelation] nor in the future [: a long time afterward];
[it is] revealed from a Wise [and] Praiseworthy [God.]
)
Quran 41: 41-42.

Why are Sunni’s & Shiites a thing that exists? Is one of them misreading the unchangeable and unalterable Quran? If so, who’s wrong and why?

Am I safe to assume that whatever flavour of Islam you follow is the guaranteed correct version because someone told you it is?

You are misguided and astray from the truth.

The 'balance' resembles justice
A parable: Once a beast devoured the cobs of a lioness, and she began to weep and cry, then a bear saw her and asked her why she was crying. She told him about the devouring of her cobs.
The bear said to her: How many mothers among other animals have you devoured their baby animals and saddened them?
So the lioness repented and started to eat vegetarian food!!

Anyhow, this is only a parable; this is because I saw on TV that some Jewish people were sad about some of their victims!
I say to them: How many people have you killed and saddened their families, parents, and brothers?

Here, I recall my dream during the Iraq-Iran war, which was provoked by the USA for 8 years: the duration of Ronald Reagan's presidency, which also lasted 8 years.

The dream was about dawn, and it was dark and quiet:

((I saw the stars in the sky taking the shape of a big balance, and I was surprised by that. Then, I saw a red spot like a star moving in that sky. I said What is this? I realized it was a missile.))

Then, all of a sudden, a blast happened, which awoke people from sleep.
A missile came from Iran and fell down and exploded in Baghdad.

The next morning, I met Abu Abd-Allah, the interpreter of the Quran and the Bible, Mohammed-Ali Hassan Al-Hilly. I told him about my dream; he said:
The balance resembles justice: so as you throw rockets on them, they in return throw rockets on you.

A vegetarian diet would kill an obligate carnivore. So, yeah, cool story, bro.

Huh, ok, so that’s why Israel is lobbing missiles back at Iran again now? That Reagan era you speak of, is that an overlap with Saddam’s SCUDs being lobbed at Israel because Israel?

The same logic as when it was Israel's fault that Egypt got an ass whooping in 1967.
