There was a report on CBS News that Cain is going to reevaluate his campaign in view of the latest disclosures over another affair he had for 13 years. I wonder what God must have been thinking when he told Cain to run for the White House??

Not sure he /she was "thinking".

Cain should probably re evaluate his intentions. and try for some truthfullness. He does tend to be a tad glib... and the present tone of the populous does not allow for glib. It wants the genuine article,.

In some ways, US presidential politics have sunk so low and have become a meaningless verbal showdown.

What is sad.....is that they appear to be mostly about the polticians as opposed to the real issues at hand and/or what the people want in order to try and improve the nation.......let alone 'restore' it .

It is as if ....these politicians are so used to getting away with lies and arrogance and your garden variety deciet, that when presented with facts / reality they just go into their knee jerk denial.

Is this the kind of leadership the population wants???

What exactly does he (Cain ) stand for.?? What is his overall philosophy?? What are the principles that glue his ideas into correcting the flaws that exist now and are destroying the fabric and core of the nation??

For one thing, he claims that lower corporate taxes will solve everything because government is a needless intrusion upon business. Further, he wants no regulation at all. Yet, he has no problem with government subsidization of businesses.

As for solutions to society's problems, it is difficult to gauge where precisely he stands since he doesn't really go into much details about his ''plans''. Instead, he spends too much criticizing President Obama - criticism without any substantive alternatives or solutions to the problems he thinks he perceives. Lately, he has spent so much answering charges of harassment and other personal indiscretions so that very little time is spent on any form of substantiality.
