your lack of proof clearly means that you are trying recruit people that require no proof.
You actually believe that horseshit they spewed? If that is indeed the case, why are they shuttering their Hamtramck plant, which makes the only EV in GM's line-up.GM also closing plants in Ohio and Michigan .
They are planning to confine themselves to electric and self driving cars, which will be shared rather than owned.
A little late, as is normal for massive corporations.
Because the Volt and the Bolt are crap. GM's going back to the drawing board, wisely. You actually believe that horseshit they spewed? If that is indeed the case, why are they shuttering their Hamtramck plant, which makes the only EV in GM's line-up.
No argument here. I've always said electric cars won't be a significant part of the market until they have a 300-mile (480 km) range, comparable horsepower, and a less-than-five minute recharge/replace time, plus a ubiquitous network of battery recharging/replacement stations. If the truth be known, I'd rather have an electric car than a muscle car. But if an electric car is to replace my commuter then it will have meet my requirements for a commuter. So far, their battery replacement costs alone threatens to exceed my entire 2nd vehicle budget. That encourages me to look for other options.
Yeah, going to a country not being financially drowned by unnecessary business killing expenses like fake news global warming carbon taxes and heating and hydro expenses.

I might buy a little one for getting around town, except that noplace has the infrastructure to recharge while parked.
I would never by any product made by Gubmint Motors.

I have two corollas in the driveway, one has 310,000 kms on the odometer and the other has 375,000 kms on the odometer and both still run like tops.Well, you do have a point. Let me tell you a story...I enjoy buying used vehicles and driving them for a few years after they are paid for. I was pissed off when my chevy cobalt experienced a knocking crank shaft at 160,000 kms. In my opinion, a vehicle's motor should outlive the body, ie approx. 250,000 kms.
If I wanted a POS car, I would have bought a Suzuki swift or hyundia elantra. Their owners expect their engines to die before the car does.
If I wanted above average reliability, I would buy something like a Honda or Toyota, but when I shop at a predetermined budget, the higher quality vehicles are older and higher mileage so it is difficult to see the value in that, it is better to buy them when they are new.

So why doens't Ontario take over the Canadian auto industry that only makes 'not for export' cars/trucks that starts out gas engine style and migrates into 'other models based on needs'. Like tracks rather than tires in the winter. 1 for every 20 cars, make it so it cab ride the train rails and 100 cars hook up at one time or 1 alone during off-peak hours.
UpTheCreek Industries. 1 car model, the Cannew, powered by various sized 'paddles'.
Do it PetroCan style or don't even start.
