Gibson Guitar factory raid by Feds for using import restricted Ebony Wood

I'm an old car restorer. I better look out. I make an annual trip to Brazil to buy select Brazilian Rose Wood and also to South Africa to buy up select grades of Ebony. It isn't cheap but it is the premium woods used by quality (Lincoln, Pierce Arrow, Cord, Willys-Knight and others) and I have it shipped to be by a private air carrier. I sure hope that group does take an interest in other more pressing issues like Border Intrusions by Drug Armies, Smugglers and now the information that some clandestine private armies are training on our soil should become a higher priority.

I hope my custom order hasn't been delayed. Gibson SG with ivory tuning pegs, ebony fretboard, and polar bear paw inlay pick guard.

On the news just now....Gibson has been supporting the Republicans while the other guitar makers support Democrats.....
Also, Gibson is a non union shop....
Does it mean anything?.....you decide:lol:

Well how do you explain the democrat in california getting raided yesterday?

This is what's wrong with the news. Gibson used a third party to import banned wood products and the products were falsely labelled. That's what got them investigated the first time, and that investigation uncovered email within Gibson to support their intentional illegal importing plan. So I decide that the connection between non-union and the Obama administration is yet another garbage story, but it plays well to those who want to believe in conspiracy theories.

And the news did talk about the labelling, last night too..
