you sound like a lawyer,or something else along that line.

there is truth, but if the design is meant to demoralize and uphold truth, then there is no truth,as in this case, what you say is only partial truths.

uh,,,,,,,what?

Let me clarify. If there is poof then that poof will indicate that poof exists therefore we must consider that. Just because someone says there is no poof doesn't necessarily mean that there wasn't poof to begin with.

Hmm, perhaps I should have avoided using punctuation?

I meant to say "the design is meant to demean, and down play the truth, this is how to make perception of individuals to buy into there is no truth,it is all in the design.
this I hope clarifies this misunderstanding,i should have extended on what i wanted to say from the beginning.

I don't see how the system failed here. The prosecution did not prove to the court beyond a reasonable doubt that that anything illegal had happened. Their witnesses were not reliable. No physical evidence was presented. No video tape or anything showing that anything illegal was done. Your perceptions of the truth are different than what was pursued in court. I don't know the truth of the situation as I was not there. I don't think you were there either. It is the prosecution's job to present the truth that he is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. They failed at that. So the presumption must be not guilty.

Its not a perfect system but there really isn't such a thing as truth. Truth is just perception of the witnesses of an event. Every observer will have his/her own truth.

There is no statute of limitations in Canada. Delay in accusations are not automatically rejected. It certainly would work against the prosecution in the weighing of the evidence by the judge or jury.

Wouldn't truth be recognition of events?

On the stand at Ghomeshi's trial on Friday, DeCoutere was repeatedly questioned about whether she was trying to become romantically involved with him.

She repeatedly said that she was not, despite sending several emails asking to meet up with him, including one that contained a photo of her simulating a sexual act. The emails were sent after Ghomeshi allegedly choked her then slapped her three times in his bedroom in July 2003.

DeCoutere said Thursday she had consented to kissing Ghomeshi, but not the violence.

On Friday, Ghomeshi's lawyer Marie Henein showed the court the correspondence between Ghomeshi and DeCoutere in the days, months and years after the alleged assault took place.

In an email DeCoutere sent Ghomeshi a day after the alleged assault in his bedroom, she states: "Jian getting to know you is literally changing my mind. You challenge me and point to stuff that has not been pulled out in a very long time."

The email later states: "You kicked my *** last night and that makes me want to f**k your brains out tonight."

DeCoutere acknowledged that she had sent the email, but said she didn't remember writing it.

"I totally forgot about it. I guess I wanted to forget about it," she said.

She also said the incident left her confused, and added that regardless of her emails to him, Ghomeshi did not have her consent to choke or slap her.

In another email, sent to Ghomeshi days after the alleged assault, DeCoutere wrote: "I think you are magic and would love to see you."
On the witness stand, the actress responded that the email didn't change the circumstances around the alleged assault incident, and repeated again that he didn't have consent to slap or choke her.
