Here's an interesting sidenote I found on Huff Post about Kathryn Borel, JLM. You may want to listen to the podcast before you tell us we should take everything she says as the absolute truth.
You bet - once you find they are lying or engaged in questionable behaviour, their credibility starts to diminish. Until then you have to listen to them & take their story at face value.

JLM, I take people at face value when I am looking in their eyes as they stand or sit next to me and believe what they are saying. I have been proven wrong in my first or few meetings but rarely. I do not take 'at face value' someone who at first remained anonymous then chose to come forward after agreeing to an apology rather than a trial where the truth might have had a chance of coming out. That easy acceptance had my spidey sense on high alert and so I went digging again. Surprising what you can find in an effort to get a more balanced picture.
