Unfortunately I have found that in general terms many people with my interests are right wing extremists, so I regularly get treated quite poorly by people from whom I sought a community of interest. That kind of leaves me with two choices - run or fight back.
Really? Those are the only two choices you see?

So what did you do and when - how long were you in the Military.

I haven't seen Rosebud claim to be a veteran, and anyway this is Canada not America. If being a vet is part of your resume fine (it is part of mine), but nobody cares or expects it. Demanding personal information of another is so American and none of your business. Privacy is an intricate part of freedom. People in Canada do not lionize a person like US sniper Chris Kyle, who wrote a book and went on a faux news speaking tour about the hundreds of Iraqi civilians he killed, including women. I guess it has something to do with national character.

I asked a question, it was not a demand -
Same question I asked you- you decided to answer.

Now if I have violated Forum Policy- report it- Asking a question does not always mean you get an answer.
And again with the Anti US crap- Do you really need that to make a point or is it so ingrained that you cannot make a point with bashing the US.
I know the answer, do you?

Best to just "shrug it off'.

Interesting that Canadian lefties revere Carter.

I wonder if they know that, as Governor of Georgia, he led the charge to get William Calley pardoned.

CC isn't a Canadian site. It has become a North American site.

I disagree. What part of the name Canadian Content evades your reason? I'm not saying you're unwelcome. Y'all're fun.

Any time you have a problem with my criticisms of America all you have to do is dispute my allegations. Tell me the Iraq War didn't happen? Or that Iraq attacked America first? Explain how the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment was the act of a land of liberty and freedom? Or just explain why America has more people in prison than any other nation on earth? These are all the kinds of reasons America told us we should hate communism back during the Cold War in the 1960's.
