... I think fascism is just another form of socialism ...
It doesn't matter what you think, Jay, fascism is and was,
by definition,
violently opposed to socialism. There are historical - or, more pertinently, politically opportune - reasons that Hitler chose to call his doctrine "National Socialism" (I won't bore you with
the facts, as I know that sort of thing doesn't interest you), but calling something "socialism" doesn't make it so, whether it's you or Adolf doing the calling.
Fascism,
by defintion, is anti-Marxist, anti-communist, anti-proletarian, anti-liberal, anti-parliamentarian, anti-democratic, anti-internationalist ... the list goes on, but the point is fascism, and Hitler, is/was
violently opposed to just about everything that came out the libertarian movements of the C18th and C19th. (I could add that Hitler's own virulent anti-socialism (he had lots of communists killed, I recall) was further heightened by his anti-semitism( Marx being Jewish, and socialism part of the supposed "Jewish conspiracy")).
I would rest my case, but there was never a case to answer to begin with.
