I would think that the lower income earners, not paying income tax, would have little to no effect on increased federal government debt and the higher deficit. If they are not paying income tax, they do not support the debt and deficit that they governments are creating now. Why are the government spending more that they are getting in. That is a very complicated question and there are a lot of arguments on both sides of the debate. I would like some explanation that lowering the GST helps the "High income earners ONLY." Let's hear from Citizen, it is his/her rule.

We should appreciate that governments are spending our money. If the government of the day cuts back, the opposition cries fowl. If they spend like a drunken sailor, the opposition cries foul. If you do not believe me, look at the Lying Liberals, (believed to be the opposition) crying foul that the Conservatives are not spending money to stimulate the economy, then get up in Parliament and say they are spending too much. I think that one reason that the Lying Liberals have lost so much credibility with the voters is because they keep switching from one side of the fence to the other, and the public are seeing them for what they are. GST is the future of the economy of any country. Recently GST in India plays a very important role in the taxation. However, it requires time to settle down and may take many years. The cut in GST may bring some relaxation for time being but this may go up again in the coming future.
The GST was created by, of all party's, the conservative party. Go figure, eh? The GST was created to just make and give more money to the political party's so they can have more tax dollars to blow on all of their pet peeve lieberal/socialist programs and agendas that have done nothing great for Canada one bit. It is the poor that could benefit more from getting rid of the GST altogether. A family of four or five can save thousands of dollars every year from getting rid of the GST.
But we should all know by now that will never happen as our dear comrade leader politicians will never give back willingly what they have stolen from we the people already. Canadians now only have politicians that are only good at cheating, corruption, stealing and lying. They have no class anymore. They have become a classless bunch of buffoons.
If the GST were to be abolished, there would be no loss of revenue for the government because all the government would have to do is abolish bilingualism, multiculturalism, foreign aid, stop massive 3rd world immigration, no more legal and illegal so called refugees to immigrate to Canada and the taxpayer's alone could save hundreds of billions of their tax dollars not being blown and wasted on all those I mentioned above every year.
But I am only kidding myself if I thought that could or would ever happen because I know that will never happen here in Canukistan. While Canadians sleep on the streets at night in the winter time, the refugees get to sleep in nice warm and comfortable beds at night with meals served. Most Canadians are pretty much aholes anyway for allowing this to happen and keep going on without a whimper.
It's no wonder I am starting to despise this country more and more every day. The majority of Canadians could careless or gives a shit as to what is really going on in Canukistan anymore. Most Canadians have become a disgusting and deplorable lot. They are allowing Canada to become a 3rd world hell hole rather than trying to make Canada great once again. And now this phony China virus is making Canada even worse, and the stunned sheeple still support this hoax. Incredible indeed.

THOSE people would work like loons from 5pm till midnight and SLEEP AWAY the day from 8am till 5pm!
The cost of running the Cdn govt would AT LEAST DOUBLE!
