689 to 702... is what? Damn, you are a ConBot!

basically flat. But that's ok, you keep picking at straws so that you can feel like you are right.

basically flat.

which is what I've stated several times... "stable"... not falling, at least in regards the numbers available. Of course, I've also highlighted the identified problem in how Canada has been reporting fugitive emissions; even on the low end of those estimates, corrections would dramatically affect that stability shown in the graph/in the numbers available. You don't seem at all phased or concerned that, in the face of this much publicized fugitive emissions issue, Harper Conservatives refuse to release the 2013 emissions update, and won't state why they've delayed them some 6 months beyond when they've traditionally been released.

Yup yup yup, the sky is falling and the world is coming to the end.

as I said, being the good lil' ConBot you appear to be, you're more than willing to deflect/distract from Harper's actual repeated statements that "Canada's emissions have been falling".

Yup, make the Conservatives failure to produce a balanced budget about Justin Trudeau.

No excuses... Seeing how you are unable to answer to the issue of effects in Canada related to a global recession, I thought that you might call your ideological soul-mate, Justine, and get some ideas from him.

You up for this, or will you still need to rely on deflecting the issue?

says the king of cherry-picking... you! You learned that from Goddard, right... or was it Tony Willard? Thinking persons recognize that you don't include the recession dip; again, all countries experienced a drop in emissions due to the recession. I appreciate Harper wants to take credit for everything the provinces are doing... but he doesn't get to take credit for emissions dropping due to the recession.

perhaps you can be "the ONE"! Perhaps you can account for why Harper Conservatives refuse to release the 2013 emissions update... or explain why they're delaying its release (6 months now from the traditional release point). Perhaps you can be "the ONE" to acknowledge Canada has been found to be under-reporting fugitive emissions. Can you do all that, hey Locutus?

sorry I embarrassed you again but we all know Gerry was right and you were wrong. I know that manning-up to your mistakes is difficult for you so I won't humiliate you any further about your silly little graph.

have a nifty day and stay careful my friend

no - again, your cherry-picking (gerry's cherry-picking) wants to include an emission drop due to the recession. Coming out of the recession there is no "falling trend"... no matter how hard you try to shill for your boy Harper! You didn't answer the questions on why Harper Conservatives refuse to release the 2013 emissions update... and you absolutely won't go near the issue of Canada under-reporting fugitive emissions. Of course not!

Mansbridge does ask Harper about his so-called "harmonization" of emission reductions with the U.S.... that Canada can't move without action being taken by the U.S..
Harper A: First of all, what I said was actually what I’ve been saying for some time, which is that this is an industry that is integrated between Canada and the United States, in North America, and what is crazy would be for us to impose costs only on our industry in a way that would not reduce emissions, but simply shift jobs and development to other parts of North America. That makes no sense. We’ve said for some time, it’s very public, we’re seeking a continental response on this particular question, not just with the United States. We’d like to see Mexico as well in it.

.... Harper gives his standard pat answer with a slight wrinkle to now emphasize a "North American harmonization... that Mexico also needs to be in the mix". Oh my, I guess the heats on now, hey Steve!

Harper under fire for rationale behind stalled oil and gas regulations

Memo contradicts Harper’s stance on emission limits

The United States has implemented limits on emissions from the oil and gas sector that are “significant” and “comparable” to those the Conservative government is considering, says a newly released Environment Canada memo, one that contradicts Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s assertion that Canada is waiting for the U.S. regulations before it will act.

Mr. Harper has said Canada will proceed with long-promised regulations to rein in the sector’s burgeoning greenhouse gas emissions only “in concert with” the United States.

The briefing memo for Canada’s Environment Minister, however, says the United States has effectively gone ahead with “significant” regulations that are “comparable to the reductions that would result from the approach being developed for this sector in Canada.” The June, 2013, memo was obtained by Greenpeace under the Access to Information Act and shared with The Globe and Mail.

FUnny how the extreme left is always so anxious to destroy the economy. Be interesting to know just how much money US industries are are giving the gullible.
