Kid has a purple one on.

The question I have to ask is while enjoying such a peaceful activity on the water why are there:
1) no ripples from the paddles or canoe moving in the water?
2) a convenient photographer at just the perfect distance to take a selfie?

ou got me on the life jacket on the kid, looks a lot like windbreaker, but I'm sure you are right.

You see one in exactly the configuration if somebody had perhaps yelled "Hey Justin, put your paddle in the water to make it seem like you are moving". If he was paddling, the pattern would be different and the canoe would be making a ripple too.

It is a lovely picture though. The artist/photographer should be commended.
