His next place of residence will be rent free as well, but without quite as much freedom.

I notice though, crazy draws crazy and now there are others in the home that will have to be removed tomorrow.

I am glad to see people can't just make stuff up and take another's property.

Cool! Now all we need is to have a group of people willing to physically remove the squaters and their garbage. This really is a joke. I know tenants need some rights and protection from slum-lords but legitimate landlords need protection from this BS too.

There are bad landlords and there are bad tenants too, you'll never get rid of both completely.

I think they should charge him 'rent', lol. After all he doesn't believe in paying taxes, so he now owes all of us for his room and board. :D

It's like as soon as someone has even the slightest inkling of how to twist the court procedures and file weird paperwork to postpone, delay, etc, justice goes from being blind to being blind, deaf, dumb and unable to form complex thought patterns.

To all those that were of the belief that this moron's lien on the property would stand:

Mike Berezowsky, a spokesman with Service Alberta, said they’re also looking into the legality of a lien Antonacci allegedly placed on the property.

“Filing a lien requires a sworn affidavit, and lying under oath can be considered perjury,” Berezowsky said.

Providing false information on a lien is tantamount to uttering a forged document.

The 2005 Alberta Tenancies act turned the Rental market into a carnival. Moral: don't rent a home or house suite in Alberta. Rents are skyrocketing because the suite market dried up.
