I'm asking why do are girls and boys in Italy and Germany mature enough to legally consent to sex at the age of 14 but not girls and boys in Britain and Canada? Do German and Italian children mature faster than British and Canadian children?
Judging by the comments on MailOnline, I reckon most of the British public takes my view and that of the brilliant Katie Hopkins.
Yep. We have a legal system which doesn't reflect the views of most people.
Of course, as I've already pointed out, that's not the case if you're Muslims in Rotherham and Rochdale or Somali asylum seekers - sexually molest young girls if you fall into any of those categories and you escape jail, with your crimes even deliberately being ignored by police if you're in the former group.
Adam would have escaped prison had he been Muslim (or a woman. A number of female teachers have been given a slap on the wrist and escaped prison over the last few months for sexually abusing some of their underage pupils, crimes which are WORSE than the Adam Johnson case as those teachers are supposed to be in positions of care and trust).

But Adam isn't a child molester. The girl is 15, not 5. She stalked him and is nothing more than a s lut who knew exactly what she was doing and was gagging for it. She isn't the poor, innocent, sweetness and light little victim in all the this as is being portrayed.
I think the laws in Canada, USA and Britain try to protect young people from horny old pedophiles like yourself and this soccer player. If other country has less strict laws, it really means their laws are wrong.
I'm sorry, but somebody having sex with a 14 year old in Germany and Italy are NOT paedophiles. Not in the eyes of the law. Such a thing is perfectly legal.
And Mr Johnson is not a paedophile. The girl is 15, stalked him, threw herself upon him and knew just what she was doing. She's 15 for God's sake, not five.
That's just sheer arrogance. The Germans and Italians could say Canada's consent laws are wrong and are too high. You completely ignore the fact that most children are biologically prepared for sex long before the age of 16. Nature didn't intend, remember, for there to be ANY consent laws at all. There are calls right now from academics in Britain to lower our age of consent to 14.
For me this story was over the minute I heard that he KNEW she was 15. He knows which country he is in and he knows the laws of the land. If a 15 year old throws herself at you, then you walk away. You don't just say 'well I should get naked and boink her'.
Sorry, 15 year olds should be boinking other 15 year olds not older soccer players.
If British prisons are anything like the ones over here, I think he will get what he deserves there. Child molesters are not high on the food chain in prisons.
By the way, your argument doesn't seem to apply to women, does it? When women sexually abuse 15 year old boys all we hear is people saying: "Well, he's a 15 year old! He's would have loved it! What 15 year old boy wouldn't?" But in my view, this also applies to 15 year old girls, too. Surely.
And you were probably one of those people (I know Tecumseh's Boner was) who, not long ago, rejoiced over the fact that a female model was spending time alone with a 16 year old boy and this rejoicing would still have happened had he been 15. I can only imagine the uproar had it been a male model and a 16 year old girl.
No. I do agree there is a double standard but in both cases to me, the child molester (be it a man or woman) is wrong and should be imprisoned. In the case of the Russian one, it was legal under their laws.
Whether it's legal or not is besides the point. There would have been outrage had it been a male model and a sixteen year old girl. And people still would have been rejoicing had the boy in that Russian case been 15 or 14 anf the model been a woman. She wouldn't have been called a paedophile. And yet, at the same time, we get told that girls mature faster than boys.
Um, that DEPENDS on whether she's a 15 year old girl, or a 15 year old woman!
Mooney Lynn married Loretta when she was 13 years old (This was in W. Virginia) and fathered 4 kids by the time she was 18. I would hardly call him a pedophile!
That's debateable and is also not important - 15 (and younger) is deemed old enough in many societies around the world to consent to sex, such as in Germany and Italy, whose boys and girls obviously mature faster than British and Canadians boys and girls, it seems.
The fact is that boys and girls are sexually mature and ready for sex at the age of 15. Nature ignores arbitary consent laws.
This soccer player was not in Germany. He has gotten what he deserved. Actually he should have been strung up a flagpole by his nuts for the rest of his life so I think he got off easy.
