Great Satan
The Mississippi River is seriously flooding SEVERAL MIDWEST STATES. A number of Cities/Towns/Communities have as much as 5 to 8 feet of water in them. Levies and Dams are failing. HOMES are under water. BUSINESSES are under water. Citizens are being evacuated. Its a serious situation.

Noted during this crises:

1. Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton have not showed up.

2. No one has blamed President Bush of doing anything to the Levies or Dams.

3. No one has started LOOTING local stores even though this is a wide spread event.

4. Evacuations have been ORDERLY.

5. During the EVACUATIONS, there are NO REPORTS of anyone ****ting all over the local gym's and totally ruining the facility(s) as they did in a certain Dome in a major city that experienced similar issues.

6. WHERE IS GERALDO ????? WHERE IS SHEPARD SMITH (FOX) DEMANDING BUSH DO SOMETHING??? MSNBC is very quite on this BIG STORY?????

7. With a LITTLE LEADERSHIP, LOCAL MAYORS and the HIGHWAY PATROL organized citizens and MOST EVERYTHING worked out as well as could be expected in a situation like this.

8. WHERE WAS CNN???

9. Why isn't anyone BITCHIN' about FEMA?

10. Why aren't we shipping thousands of trailers in there to house all these people?

11. I haven't noticed any of these people being SHIPPED to SAN ANTONIO OR HOUSTON for them to support FOREVER.

12 Are our DEMOCRAT representatives/senators letting us down????

I feel very sad for the people along the Mississippi who've lost everything. Why do you want to make this tragedy political?

I don't really think its a political issue, but then neither was the Katrina thing, but it was made so nevertheless. I guess this is more about pointing out the obvious bias in our media, and in our politicians.

I guess you have to be suffering at the delta of the Mississippi river to really receive major attention.

Hey it's your elected government!

Nothing I or any Canadian can do to change that...all we can do is let your planes land in Canada when your under attack by terrorists and send help to your people when your own lack of planning discipline and preparedness is proven inadequate.

Where's the bias? The whining only started when the "holy shyte" factor was receding as fast as the water.

Katrina might not have started as a political thing, but the way bungling bushinski handled the aftermath sure made it one...
