So he deserved to die, right, Boom?

Hey, T-Bones calling it as I see it..

On CNN some witness said the suspect was reaching for a gun.. after the officer gave him instruction to go to the ground.

If he was going to shoot the officer, I can't feel remorse that he has passed away.. good riddance ..

NOW, most officers wear a shoulder cam, and if that is not the case.. through the book at the officer, sue the city... and if you can think of anything else.. please add it.

We really don't know all the facts.. we are just getting our news the same way Obama finds out about world crisis. ;)

FYI, I think every officer in the country should wear these.. and a dash cam in the car too.

You mean good of Clinton to deport illegal aliens.

The law states Cuban's who flee Cuba and land on US soil are US Citizens..

Is it true that in the U S of A you have the presumption of innocence until proven guilty.......?

......except if you're a cop?

The presumption of innocence extends to the police too, which is why the officer isn't currently serving a life sentence for second degree murder.

Of course, in a country with a long libertarian anti-state, checks and balances, history, you'd think those with the most devotion to "the constitution" would hold the police to higher scrutiny. For some reason the same people who rally against taxes, health care and the right of some idiot to feed his cows on public land don't show up when the police show becoming an invading army and crack a few dozen heads around. They seem to side with the police when the police arrest and harass journalists. You know, I'm beginning to wonder if their anti-government posturing is full of ****.

Statistics will clarify any demographic trends.

... Don't care what those stats say, but reading all of the hyperbole and pre-judgement on the police is pretty sad in light of the overall situation

but of course...and the town has been famous for it's historic race riots of the 90's and infamous klan gatherings, notorious black on white gang rape, for being the crack capital of the south, and the segregated school system still in place there ...the entire police force is white male, each with a pick-me-up truck and gun rack with confederate flag licence plate holders...they are all named earl.

Once you play the Race Card in America, everyone hunkers down in their respective bunkers.

Black activists are now complaining about the release of the store video of Michael Brown.. but come on.. you can't demand transparency of the investigation and the name of the police officer and then complain the release of info wasn't sanitized to exclude any damaging context or info on the victim's circumstances immediately prior to the confrontation.

But, you've got to separate out those facts relevant to the death. And those do not include the alleged theft.. it involves the conduct of the officer, and whether he was in imminent danger to his life at the time of the shooting. Given the eyewitnesses reports that Brown was shot in the back while fleeing... and then multiple times while having his hands in the air in a gesture of surrender.. this policeman has a lot of 'splainin'' to do.

It's a two way street. The right wing has already decided that the kid committed an armed robbery against the store. Remember the stand-your-ground incident in which they also assumed the victim was guilty and also bear in the mind the "Wilding" case where they all thought the victims were guilty.

Best to just wait until all the facts are in before rendering any decision.
