Picture this...
I'm moving into my new house. The house isn't new, but it was new to me. I have the moving truck in the driveway and some friends helping me move. It's July 31st and the hottest day of the year so far. The vultures start to hover and it begins...
I had to tell the direct energy representative to leave because they couldn't understand that I wasn't in the mood to sign their agreement on the day I am moving into my home with boxes in my hands. I had to tell them to leave 3 times before they actually got the message that they weren't going to be making a sale that day at my address.
As if that wasn't bad enough, I've been in my home now for 2 years. In that time, they send someone around (on average) about once every 2 months. I swear I've seen at least 10 different people from direct energy in the 2 years I've been here.
The last straw was when they came by one day while I was at work. My wife was home. The representative at the door actually tried to get my wife to sign a contract while they covered everything but the signature line with a piece of paper. When she asked to see what she was signing, the rep said she didn't need to. :angryfire:
That evening, when I got home, I called direct energy and told them that if any representative of their company ever comes to my door again, they will be considered a tresspasser and dealt with accordingly.
