Perhaps it is time to tone down the rhetoric?? By an accident of birth or smarts by our forebears, we were lucky enough to live where we do. Such talk as I see here has led to hate crimes in other countries and even occasionally in our own Why foul our lives with such crap!!

How deluded you must be to believe that the elimination of a certain group of people would automatically make the world peaceful. You obviously have a very limited understanding of human nature.

I wasn't asking for explanations. I was asking for proof that you did indeed live in Muslim countries, that you did interact with Muslim people and that you were in fact given the distinction of being smeared with human excrement. Without any, I brand you a liar.
What is evident is that you wish to spread your lies, hatred and racism here in our country when you live in another. Fortunately, this is Canada and Canadians, for the most part, know how to think for themselves unlike some of our neighbors to the South who get all the news from cable outlets catering to the extremists among them. We are more tolerant than you wish to believe. We are more open and welcoming than you wish to believe. We do believe that by opening our doors to properly vetted immigrants from other shores, we are not only helping them, we are helping ourselves. So tell me, Johnnny........how would talking about that here in our forum, in anyway help or alter what is happening in those societies? Might be a bit more profitable for you to find forums in those countries and open a dialogue with people who are directly affected by such laws.
The same as we talk about anything else, especially since a motion is being debated about within our country of Canada that is asking for a special provision on Islamophobia to be instated... I did provide a Canadian example that wasn't included in your quote which showed i was keeping it relevant to Canada. I chose to use Indonesia as an example of how blasphemy laws are extreme which doesn't mean my point is neither invalid or void.
