Hi Pea

These are both sci-fi movies but still among my favourites:

"Blade Runner" and "Enemy Mine". Blade Runner is a classic, but I don't think Enemy Mine ever got enough credit.

Now that my memory is clearing up:

If you want to see a truly zany movie, try 1941's “Hellzapoppin” with Ole Olsen & Chic Johnson.

For weird fantasy-comedy, there’s 1951's “You Never Can Tell” with Dick Powell and Peggy Dow (Sort of like the 1980 Chevy Chase comedy “Oh! Heavenly Dog,” except in reverse.)

Or try Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder in the 1974 film version of Eugene Ionesco’s absurdist play, “Rhinoceros,” for a challenge.

Acid House- Watched it for the second time. Sometimes it's funny as hell...sometimes it's frustrating almost past endurance....other times it's just plain bizaar!

If you can get past the swearing....

Well I got past the swearing in the 1988 film, “Off Limits” starring Wilhelm Dafoe and Gregory Hines.

Only difficulty I experience with it was one weekend when it aired almost simultaneously on both City-TV and Fox (29).

Both censored their favourite word — Mo-Fo — only City censored the Mo, and Fox censored the Fo, and after half an hour, I couldn’t take the Fo no Mo!

Fargo, American Beauty are great movies.

And the one movie me and the kids can agree on is Zoolander....the movie is such a piece of trash that it is funny...... honestly you can probably watch it 20 times and laugh every time.
