Blockbusters (1983-1993), a gameshow with students as the contestants, hosted by the late, great Bob Holness (who once played James Bond on the radio). There have been four new series since, with the latest being made in 2012 for gameshow channel Challenge (which shows all the classic old British gameshows from the Eighties and Nighties), hosted by Simon Mayo. They should bring it back permanently.

The late great reality show the Beverly Hillbillies. I'm thinking that would not be a scene that would be possible today. The mansion would be full of Lawyers.

I found a channel that plays the old sh*t. Reminds me of better times. The stuff on tv these days I can't watch for more than thirty seconds. Wish I had a time machine sometimes.
