Denmark's impressive and emotional Euro 2020 campaign continued as they marched on to the semi-finals courtesy of a victory over the Czech Republic in Baku.
The Danes have gone from strength to strength in the tournament since the trauma of their opening game, in which midfielder Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest.
Having hammered Wales in the last 16, they impressively dealt with a dangerous and physical Czech side in a competitive last-eight tie played in a red-hot temperature in Azerbaijan.
They led from the fifth minute, when Thomas Delaney evaded his marker to head in from a corner.
A continual threat on the break, they made it 2-0 just before half-time, with Kasper Dolberg volleying in a superb cross from Joakim Maehle to add to the two goals he scored against Wales.
Their momentum was checked early in the second half as Patrik Schick coolly volleyed in his fifth goal of the tournament, taking him level with Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo in the race for the Golden Boot.
But Denmark were able to recompose themselves and dig in to ensure the victory and a semi-final at Wembley on Wednesday.
Their opponent will be either England or Ukraine, who play each other in Rome on Saturday evening.

Manager Gareth Southgate's side followed up the landmark victory over Germany in the last 16 by producing a performance of composure and the highest quality to continue their impressive progress in this tournament.
Harry Kane was back to his predatory best after struggling in the group stage, following up his goal against Germany by poking home a superb pass from Raheem Sterling after only four minutes.
Ukraine barely threatened and England - having reached the last four at the 2018 World Cup - were on their way to a second successive semi-final when Harry Maguire powered home a header from Luke Shaw's free-kick seconds after the break.
And the outstanding Shaw was the creator once more four minutes later with a perfect cross that was headed in from six yards by Kane.
England were so impressive as they simply overpowered Ukraine with substitute Jordan Henderson getting the fourth - his first international goal, in his 62nd appearance - when he arrived with perfect timing to head in Mason Mount's corner.
To add to England and Southgate's satisfaction, they kept their fifth successive clean sheet to maintain their record of not conceding a goal at Euro 2020.

Denmark's emotional Euro 2020 campaign continued as they marched on to the semi-finals courtesy of a victory over the Czech Republic in Baku earlier.
After the game, Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand said he felt his squad will have Eriksen in their thoughts when they take on England.
"I definitely feel it," he said.
"The whole world of football understood that second, and the days after, the fundamental things in life and in football, the fundamental values of football came through right at that moment.
"I am still thinking of Christian every single day. He should have been here."

England's footballers face Denmark at Wembley in the semi-finals of Euro 2020 on Wednesday, knowing victory will earn them a place in a major final for the first time since 1966.
Gareth Southgate's side thrashed Ukraine 4-0 in front of a small number of England fans in Rome.
Covid travel restrictions meant fans in the UK were told not to travel to the game in Italy's capital - but all four goals were celebrated loudly by Europe-based England fans inside Stadio Olimpico.
There were extra police patrols outside the ground to deter fans from the UK from getting in.
Instead, expats from mainland Europe managed to get tickets so England's players felt at home.
"These nights bring together families, communities," said England boss Gareth Southgate.
"To give people hope and looking forward is a part of the privilege of the job."
How many fans at Wembley for England semi?
Wembley has hosted five Euro 2020 matches so far, with England's 2-0 win over Germany in the last 16 watched by a crowd of 41,973.Spain and Italy meet in the other last-four game and England's national stadium will host both semi-finals as well as the final on 11 July, with 60,000 fans to be admitted to each of the three games - 75% of the stadium's capacity.
Italy play Spain on Tuesday, with England's match against Denmark 24 hours later. Both games will kick-off at 20:00 BST.
Remaining tickets went on sale earlier in the week.
Ticket-holders aged 11 or over need to prove they are fully vaccinated via the NHS app, with both doses received at least 14 days beforehand. Those not fully vaccinated must show proof of a negative lateral flow test from the previous 48 hours.
The games are part of the government's Events Research Programme, which is tracking Covid transmission at large events.
UK Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden said the upcoming games were "an unforgettable moment in our national recovery from the pandemic".

Spain have shrugged off pre-tournament tension, coronavirus chaos and gruelling knockout clashes to extend an impressive run that has seen them suffer just one defeat in 29 games and go unbeaten in 13.
