Looks like Trump borrowed 12 billion from China to pay the mid west for the trade war with China.

About the Commodity Credit Corporation
Background
The Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) is a Government-owned and operated entity that was created to stabilize, support, and protect farm income and prices. CCC also helps maintain balanced and adequate supplies of agricultural commodities and aids in their orderly distribution.

CCC was incorporated October 17, 1933, under a Delaware charter with a capitalization of $3 million. It was initially managed and operated in close affiliation with the Reconstruction Finance Corporation, which funded its operations.

The European Union has agreed to key trade concessions after President Donald Trump threatened to impose billions of dollars in tariffs on the bloc if they did not lower trade barriers, they announced Wednesday.

The spat is like the left hand refusing to help wash the right hand unless it get paid. lol The only commodity either has exported in the last 100 years is pain and suffering.

It also appears that Trump isn't the one who wears the big-boy pants in the US.

The move is seen to run in direct conflict with the trade strategy of President Trump's cabinet, a member of which warned Thursday that the United States and the European Union would now be joining forces "in the fight against China."

The Senate unanimously passed a bill cutting or completely eliminating tariffs on foreign-made consumer goods including toasters, industrial goods like chemicals, and about 1,660 other items, almost half of which are produced in China, Reuters has reported.
The bill passed unanimously, with no debate. The measure, called the "miscellaneous tariff bill," has now passed in both the Senate and the House, with the two chambers now expected to resolve minor differences before sending the bill to the president's desk for signing.

Does that mean the EU will no longer subsidize exports?

I hope so for European taxpayers' sake. I'm not a European taxpayer though, so that's their call if they want to subsidize the goods I consume. Much appreciated though.

Prove me wrong. The US also made major concessions. No doubt Trump got tired of the cries for help from the US industries damaged by EU retaliation. And don't use the Daily Caller as a source. It is right-wing fake news.

I think May can learn from Trump on how to deal with the EU. If she took a tough stance like him, rather than being cowardly, she'd get everything we want in the Brexit negotiations.

Tough stance? Trump is like a weathervane. He has reversed several of them so far including the famous Mexican border wall.

Well he shouldn't be reversing the border wall. It was one of his electoral promises so he has the democratic mandate to do it.

So true.

The EU blinked on trade giving Trump another win.
