My life never changed. I was
layed off 3 weeks before I was taking an LOA anyway.
What does have me pissed off was the recession that hit just before.
I lost a lot of money last quarter.

I thought you were self employed and what recession?

THE PANDEMIC HAS EVIDENCE 21 THINGS:

1. The United States ceased to be the leading country.

2. China won the 3rd world war without firing a missile and nobody noticed.

3. Vladimir Putin is a visionary.

4. Much can be done badly for the planet and humanity.

5. Health personnel are worth more than a footballer.

6. Oil is worth nothing in a society without consumption.

7. Prevention saves more lives than acting at the last minute.

8. Children occupy a privileged place for nature.

9. Death does not distinguish race or social stratum.

10. The health worker is alone, abandoned and forgotten. And still, he never lets his guard down.

11. We are NOT prepared for a pandemic.

12. The human being is opportunistic and despicable regardless of their economic or social position by raising prices of basic and necessary things.

13. Children today do not know how to play without internet or TV.

14. Social networks bring us closer, but they are also the means to create chaos.

15. Toilet paper is more important than food.

16. The planet regenerates quickly without humans.

17. Humans are the true VIRUSES on the planet.

18. We already know what animals feel in zoos.

19. We begin to appreciate the great gesture of confidence that means shaking hands.

20. And animals without humans begin to regain their space.

'Lockdown' worked, NB opening up with provisions to ensure we stay 0 cases.

Continue the lockdown.
No deaths in your tiny province , 3 cases . Broke provincial and municipal governments , little revenue coming in . Let’s keep the lockdown going . Sure the people of Canada will bail us out .
One problem Canada is broke also .

Is Johnson preparing to lift the lockdown?

Despite Downing Street insisting that curbs remain in place until at least May 7 there are signs that the rules are already being relaxed in the face of growing Tory alarm over the economic impact. New guidance is being issued to councils on refuse and recycling sites, while Michael Gove gave a strong hint that garden centres and other shops where social distancing can be most enforced could follow soon. Some construction sites, DIY stores and fast food chains have also stepped up their operations over recent days. Speculation was fuelled tonight as the wording of the government's 'five tests' for easing restrictions was subtly changed. Slides displayed at the daily No10 briefing held by Matt Hancock showed that it is now saying there must be no second peak 'that overwhelms the NHS' - although Downing Street insisted that was always the case. Frantic work has been going on behind the scenes to produce an exit plan, although officials are adamant nothing will be announced formally this week.

Once again the police are not observing the very rules they are policing. We also continue to entertain the troops in queues

The creepy social distancing bullshit is so that people get used to it and decide to do it constantly, from now on, so when the 5G networks are up and running we're more easily able to be identified and tracked instead of hanging around in clumps.
