And yet, he ran on leaving the EU...
No, he didn't. He ran on a Tory Party manifesto to deliver Brexit. Had he run on remaining in the Eu he wouldn't have won.
Still not sure where he said this... you'll have to post a link for it.
He did say it. Not only has he broken the Tory manifesto promise of leaving the EU but he's called most of his constituents thick.
According to a newly-resurfaced report by the Daily Telegraph, the Remainer Johnson went as far as to suggest that Brexit happened due to the "uneducated people in Britain".
In 2016, the Universities Minister said there was "correlation" between levels of "education generally" and a "propensity" to vote Brexit.
He told a ConservativeHome event at the Tory conference: "If there was an overriding lesson from the referendum result on June 23, it was that too many people in this country felt they hadn't been participating on a level footing.
"Too many people were feeling they are not sharing equally in the benefits of growth.
"Too many people basically feeling left behind.
"There was a correlation between levels of university attendance and a propensity to vote Brexit.
"There was a correlation between levels of education generally and a likelihood for voting for Brexit.
"Which means there's a huge opportunity for universities to play the part they want to play in widening participation and ensuring that more people, particularly from disadvantaged background, get a chance to go to university and share in the benefits that higher education can bring."

I don't know why Remainers have got it into their heads thagt if you don't have a university degree you're more likely to vote Leeave because you're thick. How the Hell does having a degree in geology or biology or astronomy or physics make you know better the workings of the EU than peeople who never went to university?
I bet they are glad he's gone. They can replace him with a Brexiteer now.
No, he's not doing the opposite of what he was voted in to do. From what I've read, he still wants to leave, he just doesn't think the current line of thought of how to leave is the right way to leave. He also wants to have a public vote on the final deal between Britain and the EU made public which IMO considering the importance of the issue, is a damn good idea. So yes, I think that's sensible.
One minute you're bizarrely saying he's a Remainer who was voted in by his Leave-voting constituents and the next you're saying he's a Leaver.
his brother's a Jackass
Why?
It makes him principled
Representing a Leave-voting constituency whilst campaigning for Leave and calling most of your constituents "stupid and thick" for voting Leave does not make one principled.
