And yet, he ran on leaving the EU...

No, he didn't. He ran on a Tory Party manifesto to deliver Brexit. Had he run on remaining in the Eu he wouldn't have won.

Still not sure where he said this... you'll have to post a link for it.

He did say it. Not only has he broken the Tory manifesto promise of leaving the EU but he's called most of his constituents thick.

According to a newly-resurfaced report by the Daily Telegraph, the Remainer Johnson went as far as to suggest that Brexit happened due to the "uneducated people in Britain".

In 2016, the Universities Minister said there was "correlation" between levels of "education generally" and a "propensity" to vote Brexit.

He told a ConservativeHome event at the Tory conference: "If there was an overriding lesson from the referendum result on June 23, it was that too many people in this country felt they hadn't been participating on a level footing.

"Too many people were feeling they are not sharing equally in the benefits of growth.

"Too many people basically feeling left behind.

"There was a correlation between levels of university attendance and a propensity to vote Brexit.

"There was a correlation between levels of education generally and a likelihood for voting for Brexit.

"Which means there's a huge opportunity for universities to play the part they want to play in widening participation and ensuring that more people, particularly from disadvantaged background, get a chance to go to university and share in the benefits that higher education can bring."

I don't know why Remainers have got it into their heads thagt if you don't have a university degree you're more likely to vote Leeave because you're thick. How the Hell does having a degree in geology or biology or astronomy or physics make you know better the workings of the EU than peeople who never went to university?

I bet they are glad he's gone. They can replace him with a Brexiteer now.

No, he's not doing the opposite of what he was voted in to do. From what I've read, he still wants to leave, he just doesn't think the current line of thought of how to leave is the right way to leave. He also wants to have a public vote on the final deal between Britain and the EU made public which IMO considering the importance of the issue, is a damn good idea. So yes, I think that's sensible.

One minute you're bizarrely saying he's a Remainer who was voted in by his Leave-voting constituents and the next you're saying he's a Leaver.

his brother's a Jackass

Why?

It makes him principled

Representing a Leave-voting constituency whilst campaigning for Leave and calling most of your constituents "stupid and thick" for voting Leave does not make one principled.

A blow to the Remainers who are insisting on yet ANOTHER Brexit extension until 31st January as the French say "NON!" The UK will definitely leave on 31st October:

France says NO to Brexit delay beyond October 31 'under current conditions' and blasts the chaos gripping UK after Remainers pass law to postpone Britain's exit, but Boris Johnson vows to ignore it

France today said the EU will not agree a Brexit delay beyond October 31 amid claims Boris Johnson will defy the law and 'sabotage' an extension if he is unable to strike a deal with Brussels. Jean-Yves Le Drian, the French foreign minister, said the Brexit meltdown in the UK was 'very worrying' as he said an extension would not be possible under the current circumstances. 'We are not going to do (extend) this every three months,' he said. His comments represent a potential hammer blow to Remain-backing MPs who have passed a law which will force the PM to ask the EU to postpone Brexit if the two sides have not struck an agreement in the run up to the Halloween deadline. Mr Johnson has said he will not ask for an extension in any circumstances but Mr Le Drian's remarks suggest that even if he did, the request may be denied. It came as Mr Johnson and the Tories surged to a 14 point lead over Labour in a new poll as his 'do or die' pledge to leave the EU with or without a deal continued to resonate with Leave voters. Boris Johnson is pictured boarding a plane in Aberdeen yesterday with girlfriend Carrie Symonds after a stay at Balmoral.

Defiant Boris Johnson opens up a 14 point poll lead over Labour as he vows to take his fight to defy anti-No Deal law to the Supreme Court and 'sabotage' a Brexit delay after Jeremy Corbyn blocked election

Boris Johnson opened up a 14 point poll lead over the Labour Party as it was claimed he will 'sabotage' a Brexit delay if he is unable to secure a deal with the EU before the October 31 deadline. The Conservative Party is polling at 35 per cent in a new YouGov survey with Labour far behind on 21 per cent, the Lib Dems on 19 per cent and the Brexit Party on 12 per cent. The poll suggests that Mr Johnson's hardline pledge to take Britain out of the bloc by Halloween with or without a deal is resonating with Leave voters and illustrates why Downing Street is so keen on an early general election. But while Mr Johnson may be surging in the polls, his Brexit strategy continues to cause chaos in Westminster amid claims he will ignore an anti-No Deal law and trigger a showdown in the Supreme Court rather than break his 'do or die' promise.

I honestly don't think we're talking about the same person at this point because nothing you have said connects to the man I read up about.

GOOD. More people in the EU need to stand up and say "No, no more extensions. Brexit either happens in October, or not at all.

I'm talking about Jo Johnson, the MP for Leave-voting Orpington. Who are you talking about?

Bad enough when BoJo's brother left the party. Now Boris is losing important people.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-49623737

Another Remainer leading a Leave-voting constituency - Hastings and Rye (56% Leave).

She won't last much longer anyway. Her Leave constituency only narrowly voted for her in the last election and they'll likely boot her out at the next one.

Taking over from May as Home Secretary when May became PM, she vies with May as the worst holder of that post ever. In February 2018 she somehow lost 56,000 illegal immigrants, 700 of whom were convicts to be deported.

This isn't much of a problem for Boris, though. He'll soon have a huge majority in the Commons, of course.

Brexit campaigner Mahyar Tousi: The European Union Withdraw Support for Remainers\\ No Deal Brexit is coming

As Remainer MPs try to take control of the parliamentary timetable to stop no deal Brexit and make the Boris Johnson government ask for another extension from the EU, Michel Barnier has said that they would veto such a move.

Everything Blackshirt says is Brexiteer propaganda straight from Nigel Farage's arse.

Just keep that in mind and enjoy the suicide.

EDIT: Allow me to correct myself. Much of it is not "straight" from Nigel Farage's arse, it's from Nigel Farage's arse via a human centipede of various alleged journalists and commenters.

If that's true, it shouldn't be too difficult for you to disprove it.
So I'll wait...
Disprove it? I SUPPORT it!

Watching a sharp operator con the rubes is always great fun. Specially when I got no dog in the fight other than a general wish for all possible harm to England.

If you are wishing for all possible harm for Britain you should be wanting them to stay in the sinking ship called the EU .
Who do you hate most , Britain or America ? You appear to have much hatred in your heart .

Mahyar Tousi: Don't Worry! Boris Is Stil Winnning!

Boris is Still Winning Brexit Despite Defeat in Parliament. Remainer MPs with the help of Corbyn and Labour took over the parliamentary timetable and voted to block no deal Brexit. This simply means Boris Johnson has to go to the EU and ask for a Brexit extension. The EU can still veto it - and today it has said that will almost certainly do such a thing. Even if Parliament makes no deal Brexit illegal, the UK is still likely to leave without a deal on 31st October if, as seems likely, the EU vetoes yet another extension.

I have to agree with Bones - the UK is going to thrown out of the EU long before they finally come up with their own plan
