Didn't want to start a new thread for this so thought I would throw it in here. One product that I do value that came from an infomercial is the new easy slide furniture movers. They make life so much easier when it comes to moving heavy furniture in order to clean around and behind or simply if I want to change things around. Furniture slides easily over carpet and area rugs with one slider under each corner. I can do all the moving by myself without having to empty bookshelves or take drawers out of dressers.

Cool. Maybe I'll get some for us when I am 90 and haven't quite got the ooomph to pick couches up anymore.
I've never had the oomph it takes to pick up a couch. I'm more the management type, lol.
Since I currently don't have a crew, maybe I'll pick some up too.

Well I'm not quite that old yet, Gilbert but I do live alone and moving furniture around can be a bit of a chore so these new contraptions really come in handy. :smile:
Actually I'm kind of glad to hear that they do work. I live alone as well and it's not the weight of what I need to move that presents the biggest problems sometimes but the size of it.

I bet. Fortunately, all the beds in the house have casters under them. The couches are a bit heavy being foldabeds or whatever they are called.
I wonder how those gadgets you have do on hardwood floors now, though. We decided that carpets were a major PITB, so we took them out and found nice fir hardwood underneath. Much easier to clean. a few rugs are handy and also easy to clean.
