Curiously, if the RCMP considered that to be receiving a bribe, the signator of same cheque should have been charged with bribery. Clearly, there was no bribe. Having grown up in Quebec, I can tell you for certain that the Real Mafia is far more "connected" to the Federal and Provincial Liberals there than any Tories are. They are not quite the Teamsters but the make the Tories look like a church youth group.
