So basically they have an excuse to be there for years and years? Somehow I don't see that as being a problem for Syria as it will be one of the busiest places in the area. Big problem for NATO though.

All of that destruction and death and those responsible are governing the western coalition of war mongers. Canada has a hand in this war crime.

Excellent deal for NATO. Russia can spend a few trillions it doesn't have fighting terrorists. Helps keep putin'd slimy hands out of our Arctic.
Then again mayhaps Russia won't play nice with the terrorists like we do and just bomb the crap out of the whole area.
