Nine reasons that Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement doesn’t make sense

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ent-doesnt-make-sense/?utm_term=.fc65f04de709

One reason why it makes perfect sense.

Why be part of a agreement that's only symbolic, that you truly don't intend to achieve?
The United States are the only serious country about NATO. Everyone else is only a symbolic partner in the alliance.

And here lies the difference between Trump and other political leaders.

He's not going to sugar coat it like the sensitive snowflakes are used too.
He's closer to a construction guy then a manipulative politician trying to pander

Countries are actually moving toward carbon reductions even though it's not binding.

And yes we already realize trump is an idiot.

Which countries are these ? And are they really reducing carbon or just fudging numbers ?

We have been reducing pollution, air and water since the 60's..
Ain't nothing new ya dummy!
No that doesn't count . It was just reducing lead and sulphur in gasoline and heating our homes with NG instead of wood and coal . That has absolutely nothing to do with carbon and global warming . Yikes get with the program , don't you want a grant ?

Really? I thought he already pretty well had that title nailed down. And in record time as well. I doubt any presidency in the history of the US has gone into the Dumpster so quickly, except perhaps one:William Henry Harrison

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Henry_Harrison

Mind you it wasn't really Harrison's fault. 68 years was quite old in 1841. The Dumpster is almost 71. It gives us something to look forward to.

I was reading that the higher carbon, while not changing temp in a any way, has been great for the worlds' plant life over all:
;)
it is after all, half the plant food molecule

liebarrels should know of what they eat
:)

If the head line was truthfull it would read "rich industrialists want it all and will get it by starving off a billion or two people...the rest they will kill with war and disease"

What a cute way to avoid saying that China is now the biggest carbon producer!

You and the Guardian are liars of Trumpian proportions.

No, it is the correct way to state that the US has been the world leader in dumping greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere for the last century or so. China by comparison has only been the top greenhouse gas producer for a decade.
