I wonder if anyone else besides me finds most of these religious questions absolutely ridiculous.
Define 'most'.

Over a couple of thousand years, I suppose he may have collected a few....
That you know of, ever wonder why you and most of the posters on this site are totally void of any insight into God? Are you auditioning to be the harlot of Re:17 and 18??

I'm always "ond" the right side.
Maybe being put in the ditch from as typo error is why you are as void on enlightenment as you are. (as that was the whole of what you got so far in this (and many other posts)

Any amount above 50%. I thought you might have known that! -:)
I know what most is in a general group, you are a group of one (1) judging the post of a few and for the Bible that would be way less than 50% here, more like 5%, ... if that.

I'm guessing there are people who would find more than 50% of the questions ridiculous!

lol IF the dude existed on the planet at one time, he would long ago have turned into dust, so no, I would say he HAS no soul.
IF there is such a thing as a "soul" (I mean to the extent of some lifeforce rather than a colloquial term for a human being), the probabilities are that it actually is a term for "mind".
But then faith causes minds to breach probabilities and reason to create an awful lot of surreal things.

The living sould dies, that is dust of the earth and the breath of life as I already posted. on death the body goes back to dust and the person's breath of life returns to God, just like the verses I posted say.

If you want to debunk me (and get rid of me at the same time) that is your best bet. Post #8 would be a good pace to start a reply if the topic is to be covered. Only the different take on generations is not really explored at this point.

JLM, post #18 doesn't have a question in it so what post should I be looking at??

Meh. Not worth the effort. There's no reliable evidence of gods existing in the first place and little, if anything other than unreliable and unverified testimonial evidence, suggesting the existence of this "Jesus", which makes anything from the Bible pretty much hearsay. Just as there is no evidence suggesting the existences of souls. But you go ahead and keep believing the conjurings of ancient minds to be true anyway.

True enough and a few years around here was proof of that, however going with just the book and the verse below just what kind of proof would you be expecting to find during the period where faith is based on a book rather than being able to 'touch Him'? The verse only applies to the 1,000 year reign, the GWT is when all the 'stragglers' are just as gathered.

Joh:20:29:
Jesus saith unto him,
Thomas,
because thou hast seen me,
thou hast believed:
blessed are they that have not seen,
and yet have believed.

Kind of renders the whole discussion to be hypothetical, which is what I was basing my comment on. :) IOW, there are no such things as souls, but if there were, another word for them would be minds.
How about using the Bible's term as that is where Jesus is mentioned. Doesn't make a lot of sense to take that name from tone book and use another definition to explain what a living soul is. (granted that is just what is done with the 70 weeks in Daniel so it is done but wityh flawed results.

I suggest you read #18 again.

I wonder if anyone else besides me finds most of these religious questions absolutely ridiculous.
Did anybody reply to your 'question'? Perhaps no reply means you stand alone when you only think that you have many companions,

I said your point is yours alone, so far. Goes to show how easy it is to be blind to the truth. Do you even know when Passover is this year?

lol Argumentum ad populum.

Truth and fact are often independent of each other (especially personal and subjective truths).
Do you even know when Passover is this year?
1. Why would it matter to me?
and
2. Why would I care?

That the best you have?

Correction: ...any insight into YOUR particular God. You are not even remotely qualified to pass YOUR judgement on mine.

Are you auditioning to be Krusty the Klown?
