Explain, please. The conservatives proposed a budget in the area of $59billion, if I recall (I really don't want to go to the trouble to look up the exact numbe), which was considerably higher than the Liberals, which put everyone into a state of apoplexy, then Martins budget along with the NDP amendments took thier budet to around $85 billion. If you have other info, please let me know.
It appears you've been fooled again. You really should buy a Who record or two.
The Liberal budget was full of old money being reannounced. It's a classic ploy...role out the same money over again and it looks like you're spending more. Every government does it. It makes them look like they are spending a lot on popular programs while not going over-budget.
Thanks for the information from someone "on the ground". You have confirmed some of what I have been told, and have provided new information as well. What were the election results, I don't recall.
The election results were that the NDP won a slim majority. Their popularity has gone up since then...enough that many have suggested they should consider an early election call.
I know as many, maybe more, people in Saskatchewan as your buddy does, Blue. In the cities, small towns and farms. The information you are getting from unspoken is no more "on the ground" than what I give you...it's just spun from an angle you happen to agree with.
