dy if you will, that body called the church which is the resurrected body of Jesus Christ.

But again, kindness, good will and love does not gap the gulf between the spiritual and the physical.

With respect, I so wish you'd stop adding your warped theology to Christian threads. :angry3:

The god myth like every other religion is a mosaic of pick and choose...of emphasis on one issue or doctrinal point while excluding more inconvenient truths....

It's a shell game...always has been and always will be...
Finding Christianity so beneath your contempt is fine. What interests me is why you would even bother Christian reading posts in the first place, given your supposed aversion to the topic?

I'll chime in on that. Shooting the messenger is by no means a modern technique. Jesus himself managed to gun down the best dirt his opponents ever got on him. If he were off his rocker he did a pretty good job of not feeding the wrong story. NOBODY is that lucky.
There are many schizophrenics that appear to be very on their rocker...their thought processes are greatly altered, but they can still be very sharp and shoot down those who would speaketh against them. I guess the thing is...why do we not believe people today when they say they are the son of god...and really believe it? It just...to me...it makes sense..as a theory...if not a well researched one. I think it is something to consider, based on our current knowledge of various mental illnesses.

My friend, are we nothing speaking about the same God? Am I not demonstrating compassion, patience and good will towards all posters?

What then do you fault me?

I could understand if I was turning posters away from God, and not giving them the benefit of hearing about the love of God.

Is there not posters here in objection to God?

I find it very odd that I should meet with such opposition from you, one who does not oppose God.

Are we not on the same track towards God? Or is your path to God better than my path to God?

My wish, is that we would join together to demonstrate the love of God despite our differences of
views as a witness to Him.

I don't understand what Sanctus has against you. I can understand why he'd have something against ME. But, I don't get why you. I think there is alot more in common with his beliefs and your beliefs than he cares to admit. AND, I don't think it's overly...christian...to tell someone what he told you. I don't get that. Why?

In other words the very same question applies to you or I.

It stems from not having true understandings of Gods love. Mankind decides who, how and when God should love.
These folks are addressed in the bible as the Nicolaitans.

Rev 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Find me one individual in all humanity that would stand in the gap between heaven and hell for us?
I know of 2. Ghandi and Mother Theresa....not only would they. they did.

they followed the teachings...heart and soul. They lived the life they didn't just preach it.

Thats a good guess, but I'm sorry that they can't fit the bill.

You see, it takes God in a body of a man, and His name was Jesus. This Jesus is alive in Spirit now and may abide in temples of flesh, if we let Him.

The gap between heaven and hell could only be breached by God Himself.

Not everyone believes that Jesus and god are one and the same. The jewish faith certainly doesn't.

You are absolutely right! There is a reason why the Jewish didn't accept Jesus as the Messiah.
As for the rest of the folks, well, its an option, but highly recommended.
