In your genocidal blood-lust try and make sure you get the right ones this time. You missed the real terrorists of 9/11 and you don't appear to be any smarter these days.

Two Paris Attackers Were From Brussels

Blood lust has nothing to do with it. It is about killing terrorists. If the terrorists hide among innocent people so be it.
When the RAF bomber Berlin do you think they did it for bloodlust? They did it to defeat the Nazi regime and if innocent people had to be in the way, too bad.
The aggressors don't worry about who they are killing. The only way to beat an aggressor who has no rules is to play by his rules which in this case is 'no rules'.
When the U.S. bombed Japan do you think they did it for blood lust? They did it to put an end to the war. Many more future massacres were prevented by those two bombs than were killed by the bombings.
War has no rules if it is to be won. And what is the use of going to was if not to win? The only alternative is to lay down your arms and surrender. Non-Muslims are not going to do that.

Let's put down the hostility for a second because I am actually open to discussing all options.

You can't dispute that lack of security was a factor. This is not blaming France or anyone in particular, it's just learning about what needs to be changed to prevent it from happening again.

OK
Option 1: Don't take any refugees into Canada.
Option 2: see above.

They also bombed Dresden, blood-lust at it's worst.
Where was your bitching and moaning when they were setting off bombs in Syria. Seems you get what you pay for when you go shopping for 'moderate terrorists'.

What is the first thing you do in your house to keep crooks away?
Put a bloody lock on your door!
and let in only people you trust
Kind of hard to do in a concert hall which holds 1500 people.

You can't expect concert halls to have armed guards with submachineguns. And even if they did, what then? Do we put multiple armed guards with automatic weapons at every location where we expect crowds? The mall? Schools? Hospitals? Office buildings?

A lock on your door and forbidding entrance won't keep out a determined intruder.
If you are referring to countries, a 'lock on the door' means closing borders. There is no sure way to know if a person is a security threat or not. People can (and do) lie, documents can be forged or stolen. Screening applicants is no guarantee that they are no threat.
What about foreign student that the Universities welcome with open arms? I believe the attackers in 9/ll entered the U.S. as foreign students.

Step one would be ignoring the opinions of the collective around here. Not hard to spot, posts void of any actual details or though or compassion for anybody but the collective.

If you are at home behind locked doors there is no #2.
