if Cuba gets the Drilling going and starts to make money, they won't care about the Embargo anymore.

but the Americans will want a piece of that!

We all thought that about Mexico also. Nothing changed, except those in power got richer. American tourism dollars is exactly what Cuba needs. They also could do with some American investment there again also. Without the above most small countries in the world would collapse. (probably most countries period, we are the biggest tippers)

Cuba before Castro wasn't much different, same terror, similar crime, same distribution of wealth, just different people getting rich. Castro, Batista no different, just that Castro is a stronger person.​

I was trying to find this article last time this Cuba came up in a thread. If any administration was going to lift the embargo it would have been this one.

This is sort of like the dog catching the car and not knowing what to do with it. The dog being Castro and the bus being an administration willing to start talks and lift the embargo once and for all.

I know the majority of American Cubans down here in Florida want nothing to do with Cuba till the Castro's are out totally.
