And bigotry.
bigotry

[big-uh-tree]

noun, plural bigotries. 1. stubborn and complete intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one's own.

2. the actions, beliefs, prejudices, etc., of a bigot.
I believe in equal rights for women, in tolerance for gays, in religious freedom, in freedom of speech, in the separation of church and state, and that western civilization is the highest achievement of mankind.

I have a stubborn and complete intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from that.

I am proud to be a bigot.

The leftists are so hypocritical on this issue. One Christian guy got upset about Starbucks coffee cups, and several of them went off about how Christians are stupid for being offended over the cups. Of course, any sensible person knows that they are only talking about the Christians that were offended by the cups, and not ALL Christians.

Now, when someone says that Islam has some bad ideas like death for apostasy, anyone with half a brain knows that this criticism is only leveled at the 500,000 Muslims that adhere to this belief, and not the billion or so others that don't. Obviously leftists don't have a lot of functioning brain cells or they'd get this. And to be clear, I'm only talking about the minority of Leftists that have brain damage (probably only representing 49% of them).

Must suck to be in Canada, eh? What with the hate-speech laws and all?

You can swear the oath of citizenship in a niqab but not a Klan hood. What's the country coming to?

Exactly my point.

Except expressed a little differently. Insisting on wearing a niqab in the citizenship ceremony demonstrates a fealty to Islam that over rides any desire to be Canadian.

In that case, we don't want her.

Zunera Ishaq proved my point.

Insisting on wearing a Klan hood in the citizenship ceremony demonstrates a fealty to White Supremacy that over rides any desire to be Canadian.

In that case, we don't want him.

Do we?

Now you're just being silly.
You deny that the suit and tie is the uniform of Wall Street bankers?

I'm just applying your standards.

I think refusing to change your name from Vasily Aleksandrov to Dougie MacKenzie demonstrates that you're not fully committed to becoming Canadian.

Northern Ontario,
Progressives have managed to make a word in the English language almost completely irrelevant simply through indiscriminate misuse and overuse.
Almost as ridiculous as the fixation of another member on the word "silly"

We can't all be Doug MacKenzie. Do you know how confusing that'd be? bad enough the amount of mohammads' that are running around now.

OK, three of you can be Bob Miller. The rest of you are Dougie. That means Dougie, Dougie, Dougie, Dougie, and you too, Dougie.

Bob'll be here in a minute.

Yep. You don't understand the phrase "Proud to be a bigot"?

Now you're just being silly.

But....if it were against the rules, and you insisted on it in the citizenship ceremony.....yep.
How do you feel about Christian sects that ban women from the clergy? Being all equal-rightsy and stuff.

Or Christians sects that forbid the swearing of oaths. I'd like to see that pretzel get made.
