I've got a lot of free time, with me having been furloughed.

My day now mainly consists of dragging myself out of bed whenever I can be bothered - even if it's early afternoon - showering, then walking into the centre of Little Lever to get a bit of shopping in from the Spar or Tesco. When I get back home I put the shopping away, maybe do a bit of housework, then just sit on the bed, have some beer and surf the web on my phone. At some point, if I feel like it, I go in the living room and play on the Xbox or watch 30 year old episodes of Family Fortunes on the gameshow channel Challenge. I also keep meaning some days to go for a nice walk along the nearby Bolton, Bury & Manchester Canal, or go for a stroll around the nearby Moses Gate Country Park, but I haven't done that yet on furlough. I like doing a bit of cooking, too. I usually swig some beer and listen to some videos on YouTube as I cook. Earlier on tonight I used my new wok for the first time. I did some homemade special fried rice. It's now 2:36am and I'm sat on the bed surfing the web drinking beer. Tomorrow I'll drag myself up whenever I can be arsed only to do the same things again.

That should do for the low bench. Maybe I'll hang it tomorrow? Maybe I'll drink beer and contemplate installing it? Who nose?

2:47am. I've just woken up and I thought: "I fancy a beer." So I went in the fridge and got myself one.

I spend time organising & reorganising my fishing tackle collection-here are over 500 Salmon trolling spoons.

There are also 4 dozen rods and several dozen reels of various sizes plus hundreds of hootchies, dozens of plugs and a couple hundred other 'miscellaneous' not to mention boxes full of Tuna & Marlin gear.

Right, it's 6:14am but still dark outside and me and my cat are going back to sleep.

She's decided to use the basket that was full of chocolates and shortbread and biscuits as a bed in front of the nice warm bedroom radiator.

Are you a vintage tackle collector?
