Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

I’m getting the app.

You?

How will the app prevent you from getting COVID-19?

Me, no for the following reasons:

-- in order to make the app useful, it will need to be draining your battery using the location services on your phone.
-- the government will need to collect this data.

All this does is make the public health contact tracing easier. But with the data gathered, it may trigger false associations. I also don't want to be nailed with a 15 day quarantine because I was in the same Walmart as Peggie Sue who got the virus even though we may never have actually even used the same aisle.

And it all comes down to how much you will trust the government. I don't trust any government much and I particularly distrust this one.
And again, it does absolutely nothing to actually prevent me from getting COVID-19.

This whole thing has been one big overreaction. IMHO .
would you rather the virus run rampid and kill massive numbers of people?? If the health officials had done that one can almost hear people like you cry out in horror. More important: how would YOU have dealt with it if you were in charge........(and had the scientific background and medical knowledge) Let's hear your plan.

That’s fair.

As always you set a good example here.

To each their own with regards to this app. Maybe I’m not as cynical as you and maybe that’s a bad thing.

Cheers.

No app can do that...directly. But if it identifies someone you had contact with that does have the virus.......you can get medical attention sooner. as you will know you had a contact. You raise valid points.

But with this virus....the app has merit. It and other technologies will improve . This one is pioneering at 1,0 The Gov already know s most things about everyone.

Due to the dominant, manly leadership of Trump, the U.S. has devised a fool-proof method to prevent the second wave.

Keep the first wave going.

Yeah, the Democratic Cities that were fining people for surfing alone in the oceans, then suddenly were embracing FREE Speech and Protesting.. because it had an atni-Trump vibe to it..

They are Democrat Cities anyhow.. if they all die from COVID-19 housing prices will be affordable again in Los Angeles, New York and Seattle   less Starbucks and the State will be Red Again. ;)

It's a Win/Win

Good one. WHO is benefiting?? Or is the virus a cleansing of the impoverished, the elderly and the vulnerable?? Is that why the virus is being made so political??
